Hi Guys, Im Infinito46 and i've been living in the UK for 5 months but my english stil needs to improve. I just texted to a friend of mine asking her what is she doing tonight and this is her answer "Going to the king williams for Robin's leaving"
King wiliams is a pub and Robin is a friend of her but I dont understand the end of the statement. What dues "leaving do" mean?

A leaving do is a party for someone who is going away ie to college/work elsewhere.

'Leaving do' could be a party for people to say goodbye to someone who is going away. Maybe they are moving house or got another job.
