Hello,

Why didnt we bet the turn? I think bet/folding that spot is way better than check/re-evaluating.

With check here we wont accomplish nothing but putting ourself in guessing games which is never cool.

Also I think there is so many weaker hands to take value from with betting. He is basically calling us with all his worst then our hands, and raising all the hands that beat us imo.

I didn't bet the turn, because I didn't see enough worse hands to call me. I mean their flop call ranges look like: pp, Tx, fd. On this turn the Tx without a fd will fold. Any pp will fold 3way, I cannot imagine 8 :club: 8 :diamond: calling here, or these kinda hands. And the flush beats me. Hands like K :club: T, J :club: T are not very likely, that they will call me preflop. I rather give them suited Tx, but for these the turn is really scary. So I really don't see too much worse hands that could call me. But MP could turn something like 66 turn into a bluff and I can call. This all-in is obv highly unusal, so I didn't plan to catch a bluff for 110bb+. But bet/folding is obv easier, but I'm not sure I can justify that it has the max EV just because it's easier; you know what I mean.

Its obvious we are playing against a fish here, so I think that kind of player would have enough worst hands to call with on the turn.

I think he would call here even with hand like 8c8x/9c9x, and also I doubt he is ever folding a Tx even without a club on the turn. These type of players dont do such folds imo. If it was a regular guy, that spot would be tricky, but against a complete fish I think its easy bet/fold here.

Yeah, you might be right, I think I might have overestimated my opponent. That still happens althought I always say to others that we must not overestimate them . Yes, bet/fold seems somewhat better against fish, and maxbe c/c against a regish player.

Hi all,

I have nothing to add to what noob3r said! Agreed entirely! Vs this massive overbet... honestly I still feel we have over 50% against his range, so I'm getting it in.
