65 EUR missing or HM2 bug?

Hello,

I just noticed, that after 45680 hands on P* HM2 reports 53.58 USD net won. I initially deposited 65.42 EUR total and in cashier I see only 53.79 USD.

I paid for some micro tournaments, but not 65 EUR.

Does HM2 has a bug in his calculations or is there a bug in P* calculations?
Anyone had similar problem? I wrote to P* support too, but I am curious if I should believe HM2?

Hey ramadas,

I think HM2 can sometimes miss out results, I'm not 100% on how/what it may miss.

There was a similar problem with lessthanthreee's stake below:
LT3's $100-$300 STTs//FINISHED! TY EVERYONE HAPPY NY!!!!

You could request all of you hands from PokerStars and import them and see if that solves the problem.

It could be due to multiple factors, so it'd probably be best to contact both stars and HM to see what they say.

Would you like to keep your thread here or would you like it moved to Poker Software?

So it solves my idea of trying pokertracker....

Probably PostgreSQL database software problem (both software uses it) which is free GNU database and quite buggy....

It's hard to say why you see wrong results.
Main reasons:

- you played hands in other currencies which means you need some stats to the reports: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/51/Settings+%7B47%7D+Currencies

- your tourney results are wrong, you need to import summaries: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/642/Poker+Stars+Setup#Tourney Summary.
For older tourneys you have to request the summaries (in english!) manually: Pokerstars > Requests > Tournament Histories...
and import the data from the mail: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/117/Import+Emailed+Hand+Histories+

- if you have a disconnnect during a hand this hand will not be imported. You can request your hands from Stars support.

Thank you for the support here.

You need to look for hands where you see a difference.
Or reimport your hands into a new database - same result?

From the view to overall winnings it is impossible to tell where the difference is.
But for cash hands there are no known issues with wrong winnings on Stars.

Today checked the date when HM2 was starting to track P* account:

28.11.2012 = I had on P* account 33.49 USD

HM2 shows 61.29 USD net won till today

I should have = 94.78 USD on Pokerstars account - some tournaments buyins (few 1 USD tournaments) but I have 41.83 USD.

Maybe automatic currency conversions eat away the money? Maybe I should play only in EUR in which I have main account?

HEM is not mainly a bankroll tracking tool, its a tool for player stats.
As i said there could be many reasons for differences like this.
Import the hands to HM1 or Pokertracker and compare the results. If they differ there is something wrong. If they are the same your handhistories are incomplete.
