Hey BigBenMee,

in the begin of the tournaments and with the blinds so small I prefer to limp 66 and call a raise, I play them as cheap as I can just to set and I don't want to scare away other players with a 3x opening from UTG bc more limpers I find more value I can extract from a set.

On the flop I guess it's a fold every time and whatever was your action pre flop, it would be enough to fold just having the MP+1 all in, so MP+1 and CO both all in it's a sure fold imo, unless you don't have a very specific read on them, but still would be a very risky call bc if they just have 2 over cards each, like KQ and AT, you are just 51% favourite against them.

You don't have the odds here and it's a risk that imo is not worth to take in the begin of a SnG or MTT, if it doesn't have a special structure(like: satellites winner take all, hyper turbos).

I'm not a big fan of limp/calling pairs... As i like to have initiative... Also if villains want to call, they also call a raise instead of limping!

Flop is just an easy fold... i'm quite shocked about the action here

Here you have to call a 10BB re-raise, if you had limp the raise would probably be smaller.

If you limp and nobody raise the SB and BB are 99% of the times getting in atc being at microlimits. This imo is an advantage for you.

Why do you want to have the initiative? If you don't set would you c-bet 4/5BB to still 9/11BB?
I understand this with antes, but with BB so small I can't figure out why?

Thanks for the replies. I think this call was a mistake on my part, I decided to play when I was tired from work. And got the mentality I am going to double up or go bed lol. Probably not the best idea. Normally I think I'm folding here. Although I did LOL when he showed A3 .

The raise pre was just because I hadn't really played a hand up to this point, and thought someone might give me credit for something stronger. Apparently not.

I like openraising more because your sets are much more decepted... If you hit a 3 on a 38k board nobody will give you a set of 3s... And against 1 or 2 opponents you can cbet cheaply on a few good boards to take down the pot yourself!

Well, I guess are just 2 different ways to play them, prob yours is more profitable, but I feel more confident to play 33-77 in limp/call when the BB are so small and I'm so deep, for the previous reasons, but I see your point!
