Its the finaltable of micromillions 4max event 19. Villain has been 3betting almost 30% from the blinds after 144 hands. I recall seeing him 3bet with very random hands.

I dont know much about icm and stuff. But one guy only has about 50% of my stack.
Payout: 1) 5,5k 2) 3,5k 3) 2k 4) 1,2k

I decided to shove, figured he will fold up to 80% of the time. Or just flat?

PokerStars - $4+$0.40|200000/400000 Ante 50000 NL (5 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

fold, Hero raises to 800,000, fold, BB raises to 1,973,200, Hero raises to 12,132,736 and is all-in, BB calls 10,159,536

Hi Ronekinky,

Here I guess ATs is my bottom range to shave, even if the hand is pretty strong in a 4hands, as you noticed the CO is half your stack, and you still have around 30BB (15M). I would check the %calling 3bet PF of the villan, and pushing there only if is very low%.
If he's folding 80% of the time, imo, is not enough in this situation. He has you covered and CO is smaller then you.

Still I don't believe the push here is so bad, but imo is more profitable if you just flat and play in position.
If the BB call the 4bet shove 5/7% times then is a +ev push, imo!
If you were the shorter stack there then I guess is an 100% push!

Hope it helps!

Let me know if you have any question, or if you disagree with something

GL

Hey Ronekinky!

Shove is the best play imo with your reads... You can also call against other villains or with different hand combinations... but a10s is a nice hand to so and there's already a good part of your stack in the middle!

What's the % call to your push the villain needs to have to make profitable for us to push ATs?

In the pot there is 850.000 from the BU, and with 12.182.736 of stack that's just 1/14 of your stack. I don't believe that s a good/big part of your stack, and I wouldn't take that in to consideration to push it. Of course if we were 6.000.000 I would!

Let me know

There are 2 millions from bb in the pot and with deadmoney its 3,5...
This is superprofitable for us with 12.5m

Its a really long calulaction which range we should be push and we would need his 3bet and 3bet/f range! I would flat most combinations here! But a10s is a hand which is imo nice to 4bet because blocker, suited, can make straight + we probably give up to much equity wenn villain cbets board and we need to fold!

My bad, I didn't take in consideration his reraise that makes the pot bigger. So this would be even a better situation then if I had 6milions and the pot was 850.000. So as I said before I would call with those odds, so I surely call on the 3,5 milions pot.. =)

I just hope I wouldn't do this consideration mistake while I'm playing.. ;)

Thank you

Regards

Marce
