Event 2 - 6max.

I started real late because of my deep run i the previous vent (Freeroll w/ rebuys)
Couldn't get any traction with hands and ended up getting slowrolled like a mofo.

I was down to 11bb and there was a limper so I shipped it w/ 55 and got snapped.
I turned my hand over and the guy says "aww you got me beat". I'm thinking, sweet hes got lower pockets or I'm at least flipping.
He starts counting his chips to match my stack and repeats his quote again.
After like 30secs he turns QQs over.

I'm surprised i didn't say, ....well you can imagine ♠_evil:

Anyway I did have respect for this guy, like we got along really well, mucked around and gave each other banter all the time. just fun dude stuff...after this I really don't know how to act around him. It's pretty low, I mean I do it online but fuck, you don't do that in a live match especially to a "friend".
To make things even worse, the next day he blatantly and publicly humiliated me with the story and I told him how I felt, not in a mean way or anything but I just said, "that's really wrong bla bla bla"

But, wateva, I won't stop slowrolling online anytime soon and mark my words.....I WILL GET HIM BACK!!!!!

Event #3- Heads-up.

A little history on this event:
I've never really been a fan of HU, I haven't really studied it or played much of it so as you could imagine I'm not that good so sorry to disappoint you but I wont be playing HU4ROLLZ anytime soon, unless grailer comes back on the scene.

I've played this event 4 times now. 1st time I got crushed of course.
2nd time I missed out by averages and the 3rd time the same thing happened.

Pretty much with this event you have to score 15 points over 7 rounds.
3points for a win
1point for a draw
0 points for a loss.
So you need to win 5 matches and if there if a lot of people on 15 then you need to have a better average than everyone else to make top 8.

The way it works....

Round 1: its randomised (most important round to win)
Round 2: the winner vs the winners and the losers vs the losers
Round 3: the winners continuously vs the winners and vice versa.
Round 4: etc etc
And so on until 7 Rounds are completed.

Won my first round which was great, this is the most important round of them all because you'll be versing the better players which will give you a better average.

2nd and 3rd round I lost which wasn't the end of the world but I would need to win out every round to make the finals.....WHICH I DID. and I'm stoked about that.

When I reached the final I got knocked, i played way to aggressive against an opponent which knew me.
All good though, to make a final in HU is a huge achievement for me.

I'll stop my book for now and I'll update the rest of the tournys soon.

Played a session yesterday, only like 300hands, really tough playing with the opposite hand.
Going to take sometime to adjust.
Created another thread asking about playing with the opposite hand and so far ive found you can switch mouse controls, so might swap the buttons and see if it helps.

Nah NL5 still.
I don't want to use a a super conservative BRM, what do you say about 30BIs for NL5>NL10>NL25. Once I hit NL25 I'll use 50BIs?

that is something I understand but disagree with.

IMO as experience player we want to play a game where the return starts been acceptable as fast as possible if we are back starting from the micros.

I start taking shots (5 BI shots actually) when I reach 20BI for the upper limit and I don't think it matters as I still have 30BI for the lower limit if I were to lose these 5 BI.

ATM I wouldn't consider myself as an experienced player to be able to smash through low micros and make a killing.

I haven't been consistent with playing over the past year or so, so my skill level has dropped dramatically especially when i start losing, i don't play anywhere close to my A-game so i don't think I can handle the risk of playing with an aggro BRM.

I use to play with a 20BI and 10BI shots back in the day but id be kidding myself if I can do that right now haha

Struggling to get volume because I'm using my left hand. I'll be lucky to get over 500hands a day.

It's not very enjoyable ATM because my internet sucks. Router is to far away from my wireless usb, so it keeps cutting out randomly. In the middle of trying to get it fixed.

if you know that you don't tilt money i think 25 bi could easily be enough for 10nl. played there a few months ago and the games are really fishy.
i sweated a friend of mine playing 16nl and those games seemed really soft too.
so if you do table select and you don't spew chips, i think you should be more aggro with taking shots

Look Back at March

March has been a great month in terms of learning and advancing my game. Money sides of things aren't impressive in $$'s because I'm playing micro but from playing this month IMO it won't take long to get to at least Nl10 quickly.

Main things I have learnt/or progressed to understand:

•3-betting better spots
•Playing IP with hands that dominate my opponent majority of the time
•Not being to bluffy on Micros

I love reg tables so much because I can bumhunt so much with table scanner but maybe I should open a fast table to get that volume along with 3 reg tables?
