So, at the end of the month I will have some results.

The imprrovments I made to may game is, first of all, not watching the results during the session, neither at the end.
Only twice a month, or something like that.
With this mindset improovment, my game has get a lot better, since I started to play only thinking in the best way to play the hand and not result oriented.

In the game, I started to spot good moments To bluf or semibluff, like when a scary card comes, or when a possible flush completes.
i also started to play more hands, that is giving me more experience on playing the post-flop.

What I think I have to improove is the agressivity. Learn how to play check/raise for value and also for bluff.
Be able to bluff all the stack. For now I only bluff small pots. hehe.
And I still need to improove the handreading.

I only posted these stats, becaus I think it makes no sense to poste the otehrs befors, since I made a lot of experiences, and my game has changed.
So, I will be posting the stats since 01/03/2013. :)

Nest month it will be with somethin around 30k hands. hehe

I am glad to hear about all these positive changes in your game.

Keep up the great work and remember that every change should start small, and you have already done a lot, so keep it up!

Best regards,

Bogdan

PS: don't try to bluff whole stacks at these low limits without specific info on your opponents

Hi.

Here are the stats. What do you think about them?

Maybe I am playing a litle too loose, or not?

Well,

This month I am adjusting my open range. I am not opening Ax from BU or CO as I was doing before, neither making isolation bets with all of the aces.

Now, I am only opening A9o+ from de BU ando CO and Axs. It also works for the isolationbets.

Of course that if the blinds fold a lot to steal, I can open almost any2:)

This change is making, until now, a decrease of the VPIP to 16.

The stats/graph look fine.

What made you change the Ax opening range from the BTN?

The isolation part I agree with as a A6o may be tricky to play postflop.

Well, I changed it because I thought I was loosing with them.

Anyway With the time I started to open again some A9o- form de BU, but not for the isolationbets, like you said hehe.

This month AT NL10 is going very well, in a few days I will poste the results and stats again.

Now I am imprroving may game in the part of calling 3bets and callin OR IP.

Well done then.

You can always filter those hands you think you lose with and see how you actually do with them via HM or PT. I actually recommend doing this when you do your DB reviews (I do this a lot when I do DB reviews).

Best regards,

Bogdan

Well done Kony,

I think that you can definitely set aside a few buyins and take some NL 16 shots.

Do so when you feel at your best and play NL10 the other times when you are close to your best. There's no shame in just "testing" the waters first before you make the full jump.

Keep us posted.

Best of luck,

Bogdan

Hi.

Thanks for the motivation.

Yes, I will give some shots at NL16.

Anyway, I think that the bigest step is to move up form NL16 to NL25, so I made a plan to improove my game and be prepared to the NL25, when the moment arrives.

Since I have lack of time for the poker, something around 1h30 a day, I was using all this time for playing.
But now I need to study and imporrve my game, so I made a plan.

What do you think about it?

Game improovement plan for NL25

From Monday until Friday
- 2 days for sutdy: 1h30m/day
- 2 days for palying 4 tables with recorded and comented sessions - The mais objective is to be able to apply in the game what I have learned: 1h30m/day

Friday
- "normal" grind with 8 tables, taking advantage of the high number of donekeys at friday night: at least 2h.

Saturday and sunday
- When I am at home during the weekend
- "normal" grind with 8 tables: At least 1h30m/day
- When I am not at home during the weekend
- Study: Without estimated duration. by availability

Off Poker - Body and mind preparation

From Monday until Friday
- morning exercises before work: 20m fisical and body energizing exercises + 5m of meditation/Reiki

[USaturday and sunday
- When I am at home during the weekend
- One morning: MTB or walking with the family
- When I am not at home during the weekend
- walking with the family

Given the limited time you have available I think your plan is really good.

You may find it that some weeks you will need to grind more than others so you may cut some study time down. And other weeks you may be too tired to play efficiently and will study more.

The key is to be flexible and work as hard as you can when you do have the time. Better to do something else than half ass it :)

Hey Kony,

Good month.

If I were to comment on a few stats I feel that you are not cbetting enough on the turn and are quite passive on the river especially in late position

We also don't seem to 4-bet bluff that much on the 4-bet (while that's not hugely important at 10nl there are many spots for it).

What kind of spots/situation are good for 4bet bluff?
Can you give me some examples?

Steal/resteal spots are usually good starting spots.

You also want to have blockers when you 4-bet bluff because a 4-bet bluff generally has to work often (60% plus). So the less good hands he can have the better for us.

So look for CO vs BTN, or CO/BTN vs blinds or even SB vs BB.

Hi.

My bankroll just reached the 4 digit, :)

This means that I wil try NL25. :O

Do you have any advice for NL25. Which are the mais differences between NL25 and NL16/NL10?

Here are some stats:

Congrats on your achievement.

Generally you will find slightly more aggressive people at 25nl and more aggressive short stacks (plenty of them).

The fish are still fish so you can go after them with lots of valuebets.

I see that your BTN steal is less than SB steal which I think is a mistake. We definitely want to increase our BTN steal and reduce our SB steal.

Hi Bogdan. It has passed a couple of months since my last post.

During this time I was playing in NL25, and it is going well.

Here is the graph

In 2014 I will try to fix that red line, what youthink?

Hi Kony,

How do you plan on "fixing" the red line?

It's not overly terrible now for the limits.
