hey ...
it's going nicely and yeah, moved on to almost exclusively playing the regular anonymous tables
I've started a fun little poker "side-project" playing HU SnG's ...
PokerStrategy offered me free 10x$1,20 SnG tickets @EuroPoker just for lols ...
So whenever I felt like playing poker but not in a "open a bunch of tables & grind" kind of way ... I played those and yeah ...
It just confirms once again how much I love HU and the only reason I stopped playing it was that I no longer had a roll for NL50 HU and playing below that was pointless rakemurder.
Dunno why I never considered playing HUSnG's, but it seems to be the way to go if you can't start with the higher requirements of cash HU.
So far mainly $1,20 and a few $3,30 ones ...
Such a joy as usual, time just flies in fun & excitement when playing HU ![]()
Results so far ...

The best side there is ... Tho it remains to be an ugly battle between fun & hourly/volume.
I want it to be "maximum poker" as well, not just pushing equity edges and whatnot.
I play the slowest regular format with very small blind jumps and 8 minute levels ... Makes it almost like a cash HU
Meaning there's basically zero volume
But at least there's time to play, constantly doing all sorts of fun shit to get to know your opp etc ...Can't really imagine multitabling HU vs different opps ...
Any HU SnG specialists out there with advice on how to approach this thing the best in your opinion?
I know Wriggers plays them (hypers tho!?) - how many tabs you play? what kind of BRM do you use?

Anything non-fastfold will be close to zero volume for me because my brain can't multitask
Just have to move up rly high where they respect my 1-tabling effort![]()
Hey, as Tim said, welcome to the dark side ![]()
I play HU hypers as well, but I played some turbos before...
Well, one-tabling them until you get comfortable with most of the decisions, and they become more-less automatic is the best way, IMO. Don't rush adding more tables before you're ready, you'll be burning money for no reason.
If you're playing the slow formats (reg-speeds and turbos on stars, don't really know how other sites compare) 15( for reg speed) or 20(for turbos) BIs for a level are a good way to start.
Hypers, if you want to be aggro, move up with 50BIs move down with 35. When you come to the limit you want to stay at, 100-120BIs are considered an 'OK' BRM, but you can have more if that makes you feel more comfortable, of course.

So you play HU sngs mainly now?
Do you have any plan to move to HU cash or what?
Like I said, my wish has always been to play HU cash, but until I can afford to start playing @NL50 ..............
And no, not playing SnGs mainly (yet at least) ...
SH Cash is still the game that I "grind" for survival moniez ...
HUSnG's is what I play when I want to have fun playing poker and see how far I can take those freeroll tickets ![]()

Sometimes people rather fold weak hand because they don't want to you to see what crazy calls they made
HUSNGs > HU cash, btw. HU cash is pretty much dead nowdays, and hypers are going stronger than ever...

Quite some PS guys still crushing NL50-200 HU cash for nice $$$ ...
But yeah, time will tell, if I ever reach that point anyways where I'll have to make that decision.
Freeroll ticket built HUSnG bankroll stands @ ~$35 atm
