I wanted to post a simple overview of the staking deals that are mentioned in this thread, which Damian had with different people. Most of it is from the deal with me. Here it is:

1. 1000 USD TwiceT online (spring 2012)
2. 3000 GBP Maritsula live (2012/2013)
3. 2000 GBP mindan live "35% or Maritsula deal"(31. 1. 2013)
4. 1000 USD mindan online NL100 (31. 1. 2013)
5. 2000 USD mindan online NL200 (31. 1. 2013)
6. Ended deal mindan online NL100, added 5BI (1k USD) from NL100 to the NL200 deal (11. 2. 2013)
7. 2000 USD mindan online NL200 top-up (11. 2. 2013)
8. 5200 USD mindan online NL200 top-up (25. 2. 2013)
9. 1000 USD mindan sends coaching for TT (4. 3. 2013)
10. 2000 GBP mindan live "another 35% or Maritsula deal because some backers backed out" (6. 3. 2013) *at this point, 70% of action is mindan's and the remaining 30% is spungeh's money, as »backers backed out«.
11. 5072.5 GBP mindan live top-up, mindan now has 100% of live deal (23. 3. 2013)
12. mindan online deal changed to NL100 (23. 3. 2013)
13. mindan live deal: Damian stops playing live (18. 4. 2013)
14. mindan online deal: Damian now plays NL100 at iPoker, moves the live bankroll to ipoker (18. 4. 2013)
15. mindan online deal changes to NL50 HU only, which would be split 100/0 in favour of mindan until Damian repayed 5k EUR, then reevaluated (28. 4. 2013)

From the data I asked Damian to send me, I only received –PokerStars hand history so far.
I went through it, compared to the data Damian sent me before and found some things that don't match.

1.0 Overall graph for the staking period, played on PokerStars:

1.1 Overall graph for the staking period Damian sent me:

2.0 Overall graph filtered for only the stakes I staked him for (NL100, NL200):

2.1 Overall graph for stakes he played out of our agreement, without letting me know:

I am not supporting him nor am I slateing him. I am supporting a bona fide attempt to resolve the issue.

I believe if we not part of the solution then we part of the problem.

Hi guys,

Whilst PokerStrategy.coms stance is to generally stay out of this kind of stuff I would just like to say that I am keeping an eye on everything and if anybody needs assistance they can get in touch.

Whilst things have not been dealt with perfectly previously with Spungeh and whilst I have personally had problems with him regarding a few other topics I am glad to see him coming to the thread and dealing with things asap. Yes there are questions unanswered, but if he continues to come and give updates reguarly then that is better than 99% of cases.

Spungeh, you spoke about your reputation being important to you. Whilst it may appear the worst possible thing to happen to you right now, it could be a blessing in disguise, people in the thread have said how nice a guy you are irl and that you are a cool guy. If you do have external problems then its better to come out ASAP so that you can fix them rather than it continuing for years and becoming increasingly worse.

From our side, the moderators reguarly expressed problems with Spungeh and he had a couple of disagreements with certain mods, reguarly offering coaching, staking and looking for staking himself when previously showing breakeven small sample graphs on his blog raised some eyebrows.

There is one other thing to add.

On the 25th January 2013, Spungeh made this thread, which I decided should be closed.

Live £200NL - *Updated, Graph and Results*

So...

Keeping this seperate.. As want the stakes different.. Basically looking for £10,000 (15775.00 US Dollar) for a business mans game that I got invited to last night..

The game runs a few times a week.. min sit down is £500, and avg stacks are around £2000-3000.... There are 3 pros there.. and the rest are drunk/gamblers/businessmen..

If I had the bankroll I would ship the entire thing myself as It'll be easy money.. but obv.. I dont

I already have some people interested.. but going to let the wider audience have a look at the piece.. talk on skype for more details..

numbers

£10,000 = 15775.00 US Dollar

10% = £1000 = 1577.50 US Dollar
25% = £2500 = 3943.75 US Dollar
50% = £5000 = 7888.50 US Dollar

I have spoke to Damian more often recently on Skype and echo the sentiments that he is a pleasent guy to speak to. I hope you can fix this with everybody involved and as transparent as possible, if so I think you still have a future in the poker community and on PokerStrategy.com.

I wish luck to everybody involved and praise the patience that mindan is having here,

Transaction history for ipoker

Spoiler

Although I may of played bad/ran bad and ultimately the situation is the same, I would much rather be classed as someone that didn't beat the games, rather than someone who stole money.

Updates on other info

Pokerstars transaction history im waiting for an email,
Skrill mindan already has (or at least seen) but will be sent in priv anyway
ipoker hand history is above.

This is not correct to my knowledge. Maritsula had 30%, I had 10% and liessens (of whom we have not heard in a while) had 25%.

i'm surprised spungeh doesn't beat the game. i'm more surprise that anyone with kinda results can get a stake.
maybe what i'm really surprised is that that spungeh prior to being staked can showed some kind of decent evidence that he is capable to beat the games but only after receiving jinxed $ could no longer beat the games ?( ?( ?(

deffo unfortunate for all those tangled in this affair and i do hope all of you guys can get back what you deserve to get back.

Hi,

In regards to beating the game, I believe that I do at the limits that I've player previously.

The reason this stake has gone like this, is because I was playing on a higher stake then I had previously, that coupled with running pretty bad. (not sure which graphs to accept yet, but either way) at the minimum I was running 15BI under EV, at a fairly decent limit. Although the EV line can't be taken into account for coolers etc, it shows some kind of evidence that I'm not awful.

In regards to live play, again while playing at a bigger limit, I ran into cooler situations and/or bad situations in general.

For example

Spoiler

One hand that always springs to mind, just to show some of the situation was I got J :diamond:Q :diamond: on a 7 :diamond:8 :diamond:3 :diamond: flop and got it all in for a pretty big amount ($ wise) and the guy shows A :diamond:K :club: and obviously the final :diamond: comes.

So even though I was making +EV plays during the stake, the eventual results did not carry on, and volume was not massively amazing, especially when playing live, and 20hands an hour, in a game that ran once/twice a week.

Just out of curiosity if you don't mind. What limits were you beating online before the stake deal? And how come you decided it's a good idea to play higher than staked for while losing?

Most of the money was invested into live poker, the smallest game being NL200(GBP) and some NL500(GBP) games. Which I clearly beat, and most people here probably beat to, thats nothing to be 'proud' of. but due to running bad/playing bad in these games, is what resulted in the massive downswing.

Mindan and I, personally believed that I could beat higher limits online, (Which we both still believe) but things just didn't go my way, and although people like TT, mindan etc have all said I have potential, I still have allot to learn.

I also coached him 2 times in poker and I think he has potential as a player, but ofc there is a lot to improve on.

We all make mistakes. Some can be forgiven, some can't. But all mistakes have one thing in common: we can either learn from them and move on, or we can't.

I am not backing up anyone, but nor do I want anything bad for anyone. What is done is done, no one can change that. We all can learn from this, which is pretty nice thing. Usually in every misfortune there is at least a bit of fortune.

Have just received pokerstars deposit history, but it seems to be missing a fair amount, so will go over in private before anything publically is announced.

This was never the case, I only ever played as high as NL200, I played bigger live games, but online NL200 was max...

Lol staktas, knew that was coming!

I agree with a lot of what Kyyberi has said. Its not an ideal situation but props to spungeh for posting and trying to get everything sorted.

Guys calling him a scumbag etc. should just leave it and not get involved...

One of the reasons in which why people should really not take everything they see..

When the stake ended with mindan, I came into some money (in which has been proven to mindan (and whoever he sent it to)) and that is what I played NL400HU with, not with mindans money, not with a stake.

This also shows the date as being a few days ago, which should confirm that it wasn't under stake, fwiw.

i'm deff amazed now, you cannot beat 6max 200nl(base on your graph you run at ev-$6.25/100hands and u run a redline of approx -$15/100hands or -7.5bb/100hands) but you think you can beat someone at 2table nl400 HU, i reckon you'd have a greater edge at a roulette table...
you claim to be broke, but yet can play at such stakes at the point of time when your stake is in such a mess. whether the your $ or not is besides the point really.

my thoughts exactly. How can one lose someone else's money, and at the same time play higher limits with clear conscience...
