Hi,

I was googled for information about Chiang Mai and found your blog

My english is very poor, but please answer a few questions.

How many poker players living in Chiang Mai? What quality of internet connection?

I want to learn english, are there any schools for expats? With the opportunity to receive one-year student visa?

Can you answer one more question. Im going to bring two 27inch monitors from home, and buy a new computer in Chiang Mai or BKK

Chiang Mai has a good computer shop? I mean shop where you can pick your own configuration, with specific details (Motherboard, CPU, Memory, etc)

Sabadi mai?)

Just arrived in Chiang Mai :f_cool: stopped for a couple of days at the guesthouse

Walked around guesthouse, liked calm atmosphere here. Would like to stay in Chiangmai for a long time.

I found a "The Leaf" condo for 6500 thai money\month, contract for six months, plus $ for the Internet and bills. I went and watched rooms, think a normal place for microstakes grinder. But don`t know if there is a good Wi-Fi or not... In the guesthouse where I was staying internet disconnects every 2 minutes

Be kind, tell me this place is good? I mean the area. Or maybe actually find something better or closer to the center for the same low price?

I'm a bum without navigator)) crazy lone traveler and currently did not know the city :P
I will be glad if you will hint something.

hey buddy, sabai dee mak krap pom.
you can add me on skype, supeyrio.
would deff be ok to show you around :).
i've enver heard of the condo before and location wise it's decent cos it's in the city. do not sign the 6 mths contract, there are so many mth to mth basis condos available.
i'd say take ur time to go around and choose, you may make some friends along the way and wanna put up close to them!
if you really want low prices, you have to go around and look for them as these places are usually not advertised the internet i think. usually for thai people, you can find places for like 4k baht or so.
not sure if you would really mind the living conditions, nt the best but reasonable i think.
look forward to meeting you ;)

wrote a new article about the value of time? i think poker players should mostly already know their hourly! enjoy reading!

The legal situation is that you find a fair deal to avoid any problem... if you know what i mean

Hey,

I m thinking about moving to Thailand, but i cant find a way to solve the VISA problem.

Can you please tell me about your Thai student visa? What kind of student visa do you have? You were writing about language schools. Is it okay if i go to Thailand to learn English? Or do i have to learn Thai?

Please help.

Regards,
Prisank
