SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A♠ Q♣

fold, fold, Hero raises to 4 BB, fold, fold, CO calls 4 BB, fold, SB calls 3.6 BB, fold

Flop: (13 BB, 3 players) 5♠ 4♥ A♦
SB checks, Hero bets 8 BB, CO raises to 18 BB, fold, Hero raises to 40 BB, CO raises to 40.8 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 0.8 BB

Turn: (94.6 BB, 2 players) 7♦

River: (94.6 BB, 2 players) 4♣

I couldn't see folding here on the flop and I thought if I called I'd probably see a bet on the turn all in so I essentially put the guy all in.

I can't fold there I don't think can I? Just call? Or should I assume he's got me beat and fold?

hihi edu,

i would have played the hand the same no doubt. he's too short for you to fold and we usually have the best hand so we want value. if he's bluffing, he's unlikely to follow up his bluffs on the turn since this is a very dry A high board.

cheers

yeah, as a shortstacker, his most optimal play is to 3bet AK no doubt.
unlucky there
