When the villain calls on the flop I have him on an ace...or possibly a flush draw...maybe a big pair that doesn't want to lay down. I checked the Turn hoping no flush cards came on the river. When he bets there on the river...Odds of him having an ace are small...if he does there's only 2 kickers he'd beat me with...and if he has anything else like sets I'd win...
I felt I had to call the 1/2 pot bet...
