Hi all.

I am playing PLO50 and taking shots at PLO100. I struggle quite a lot from the BLINDS play. My winrate from the BLINDS is more than -100bb/100. If anybody is doing better than me and would like to give me any help it will be much appreciated.

Best regards.

Hi.

Thanks for the respond. If you would like we can have some conversation and you can see what I am doing from the blinds and probably give me some advice. Recently I started playing really really tight from there both preflop and postflop. Preflop I am playing 4 connected cards, no danglers except AA and KK even sometimes I am folding the crappy KK. Postflop I am most of the time check/folding, sometimes lead and almost always check/raise the monsters.

Regards.

I just do not find any logic of making any move OOP. The people are calling way too much to be profitable. This is my opinion.

Regards.

You also have to keep in mind that by folding blinds you are giving up 150bb/100 (50bb/100 from sb, 100bb/100 bb ) so losing about 100bb/100 is still some kind of a achivemnet. Of course you shoud make that number lower, but you also have to try to get higher winrate from bu and cu to make up for the bb loses

Hi,

150bb/100 from blind by folding evey single hand??

1 tabling 6max -> in 100hand you sit 16.6 on BB and 16.6 on SB, how you can lose 150bb/100 then?

16.6 + 16.6/2 = 24.9 so you lose 25bbs, no?

or, am i missing something?

Thanks

You just look at the hands where you are in the blinds. So if you fold your big blind 100% of the time you have a -100bb/100 winrate in that exact position. -50bb/100 in the SB of course. So if you manage to lose less than 100bb/100 in the BB you make a profit. Since in PLO position is so important it is impossible to have a positive winrate in the blinds. But you should try to minimize your losses there.
