I think you forget the position... Not sure. ;)

I would add there one more thing: understanding WHY the position is so crucial.

:Yes sir! It would also be interesting in blind defending situations (3bet pots oop)

It would be great if u guys perhaps posted some of the hands in question in our HH forum. That way i could give my analysis of the hand in depth, and you would get some feedback on your play :)

If you don't post any i'll just find some hands of mine, but imo it's a great opportunity to make a good debate this way.

Hey,

Regarding the hand

well the call is marginal, but there's a few things why i like it. When i see a fish like that 30/0/0 to 3b is probably AAxx. That seems bad for our hand. However, these are the kind of players who usually just bet call almost any flop when they have AAxx as : "i have aces, i'm not folding ever as i finally got them!". I've seen these types of opponents stackoff like crazy with AAxx postflop.

However, if your not comfortable playing those hands OOP in a 3b pot, folding is definetly better. Again, if you are 3bet by a more agressive 3bettor, i'm again more inclined to call.

Regarding the topics

The topics you posted are such that are difficult to explain in such coachings, and would take a really long time to explain and go to details. Questions like when bluff or hero call, or how to play against aggro villains are so broad it's impossible to answer them.

I'd rather like for you guys to post some spots, where these questions apply. Post some hands, where the situation in question occurs, the stats on the opponetns, the game dynamic etc..., and only then will i be able to explain my thought process regarding situation.

So if you have a difficult river spot, post the hand, post the situation, and i'll talk about it.

Regarding future coachings

I like the idea of future coachings being 1h of live play, then 10-15 of review of the most interesting hands, following by 15-20 min of talking about the hands you guys post in this thread - (or even better, post them in the HH eval forum, so others can reply before hand as well, and then we can talk about the hands in even more depth).

Ofc the coachings are done for you guys, so if you wouldn't like this format or have any other ideas please let me know!

Hi guys,

just to give an update to those who haven't hear. From this month on, i'll be having coachings every thursday, even on those weeks when Ribbo had his coachings.

One week i'll play plo10, while the other plo25, so you guys can see the differences between the games.

If you have any questions, don't be shy and ask away.

Regards,

Skodljivec

hey, any reason why your coachings are silver status only? Just wondering as i thought they were beginner sessions and my pokerstars account isnt tracked so silver is off the cards.
