well, i was thinking because he is more likely to fold to a shove than a smaller 3 bet and i was happy getting all in with kj

I don't think you are inducing a 4bet from him with much worse.

I also don't like to play a 16k pot oop with 25k behind.

2x 3bet is good here. You get calls from dominated hands. Once you face 4bs you have to call. There could be huge argument which is better 3bai or 3b nai readless, but we have no idea how population tends to play HU in MTTs and all that discussion would be based on speculation

On micro- und lowstakes players generally love to call against small bets (especially 3bets) and are more scared of shoves for their whole stack!

So just jam it in here if you want fe!
