My internet broadband decided to die on me so I wont have internet connection for at least a week.

This happened at 2am while I was grinding so I visited one of the casinos to play some cash game and I won 2 BI

My advice to anyone playing live cash games: Squeeze and 3bet with a very high frequency and always cbet the flop, under half pot as a bluff and larger for value.

Your average casino player will have no clue how to fight back. Usually against 3 limpers/callers if you squeeze you will get 1/2 callers who will fold to a cbet if they miss.

This tip is a huge money maker in live games. Also it puts players on tilt and they are very likely to spew when you do have a hand.

Last night I was squezing/3bet every 3-4 hands and I was making a very good profit by doing so. Players were starting to get very annoyed at me. In one hand there was a raiser and 3 callers and I look at my cards to see a pair of Aces. I squeeze oop and get one caller. Flop is 955 rainbow. I size my cbet to put him all in by the river and he decided to raise my cbet. I call. Turn is an Ace (lol), i check and he ships. I call saying that i have the nuts and he show AJo. Turn is a cooler for him but i think he was shipping any turn.

I made two big bluffs in the session. Only one of them worked.

Hand 1.
Hero- 400bb
Villain - 300 bb

UTG opens for 3,mp calls, two folds, I call IP with 89o (both utg/mp are pretty bad)

Button squeezes to 13, utg/mp fold and I call.

Villain was somewhat aggro/bluffy but overall a very bad player

Flop comes
Js10s8h

Pot was almost 30bb and he cbets smallish to 15bb which was very weird given how wet the board was.

I call

Turn is a blank, he bets 1/2 pot again and I raise to 80bb.

He calls

River is another blank and I insta-ship the rest of my stack

Villain mucks

Hand 2
utg opens to 4, utg+1 calls, 3 folds and I squeeze on the co to 16 with A8o

Utg folds and MP calls.

Flop is J82

MP lead small for 1/3 pot and I call

Turn is a Q and he leads again with almost the same size bet he made on the flop

I call knowing he is very weak (Jx prob) and that I can take it away on the river

River is a K, one of the best cards for me. He bets really small again 25 bb into a 110-120 bb pot, leaving behind him 80-100 bb.

I ship and he calls me with Jx.

I think the fact that he lost his 300b stack 10 hands before this with tptk vs set increased his % of calling the river bet due to tilt.

I tried to open HM2 but it wouldnt work without internet connection. Anyone knows a way around it?

Hey, just got back to my home country after end of exams + a week of holidays.

Last day in the UK I was in Manchester at a friends house and decided to try my "luck" in ther local casinos.

I visited the Genting casino but I only started playing after almost two hours as there was a problem with my card ( couldnt get cash ) and I had to wait for a seat to open up on the table.

I sat down at 3am with £200. The stakes were 1/1 and later we made it 1/2.

Well what can I say, I am glad I decided to go and wait as it was my biggest session live so far as I left with a bit over £1.6k _biggrin:

The online grind is not going so well as i didnt have much time the past days to play and the short sessions I managed to play ended badly :P

In other news, there was an online gambling law passed last year in Cyprus which came into effect recently. It forces internet providers to block access to gambling sites including pokerstars.

Fortunately the pokerstars' software still works so I can still play.

They don't differ that much (maybe more regs and less fish), it's probably all in your head. Play your A game and abuse other players' styles.

Hi

Hand 1. Vilain reg? Did you have any notes, reads? I do not understand his play at all. Good call down.

Hand 2. Wow. BTN is also reg? I mean what he was thinking OTT? And OTR he was trying to make you fold Kx?

Hand 3. Merged turn raising range FTW.

Hand 4. NH by you. If he do not fold to cbets, we loose a lot of value against Ahigh and broadways which are floating anyway, and they could ch/b flop some %. I wonder what vilian was trynig to fold Ahigh maybe.

Hand 5. His bareling % are super high, definatly calling with all 8x and better.

Unknown player. I wasnt too happy with calling down but what is he repping? Nothing. Top pair beats nothing;p

No chance he is a reg. Prob a random fish.

Hand 3. Merged turn raising range FTW.

This guy is a decent reg

He was trying to make me Ax, underpair, weak 9x etc. Thats why he made it so big otr

Hand 5. His bareling % are super high, definatly calling with all 8x and better.

I called him down with 66 :P

I think best question here..Is Villain capable of transforming a hand like ,TT or 8x,maybe 2nd pair weak kiker in a blufff????

Last hand...
I am x/c 2nd pair+ hands like J9,J10,and obv TP...
Folding TT or less....calling this only when I have some notes that he barell O/C IP...
Regarding his 3barell percentage, ofc u can call him light, but caling here w 8x IMO is way to loose, this kind of V would 3barell J9 fore ex.

Nice hands BTW,

Nice hands BTW,

I think he is one of the guys that 3 barrels his entire range that doesnt have showdown value. Otherwise his % would be even higher.

If this is not the case and he turns hands like TT as a bluff then calling with 8x or worse (such as 66) is bad.

He showed A2o
