Information about strategies for fast fold poker can mostly be found in our video section. However, I see your status is still Bronze, and there are unfortunately no Bronze status videos about fast fold poker available.

Because of this, my advice to you is to post this question in our English No-Limit forums. Our members and coaches will be happy to tell you more about good strategies for fast fold poker.

Message from support
so i am expecting your answer.

Hey vlatkocige,

Like I previously mentioned, your question is very broad. Fast Fold is just poker with player pool dynamics instead of table dynamics. You have to think about the same things as in normal tables: why are you betting/raising, what worse calls, what better folds, what is your opponent's likely reaction to your action, etc.

Start off with the basic videos, follow pleno1's Wednsesday's basic coachings and go from there.

If you want to get more feedback from other members on this, please start a new thread since this one is solely dedicated to Monday's 8PM CET NLHE Silver Coaching.

Speaking of which, I am still looking for a video to review guys. Please submit soon!

Regards,
Manu.

I don't have any videos, but I thought I'd post this hand. Where I think I played it somewhat similar to to one you reviewed in your recent video, (the A5s hand 11min in).
Really liked the video and have liked all your videos so far. :f_biggrin:

Hey guys,

I can't make the coaching tonight. My Internet is being very slow so the stream speed and connection quality would be unbearable. Sorry for the inconvenience, enjoy your day!

Hey Oblioo and Emanuel

Really excited for your session monday evening.
Its okay to ask questions here right?

This is the topic: "the duo will be discussing with members about how to beat No Limit cash games in 2013."

Question 1: Lag profitable style anno 2013?
I was wondering if you still see many LAGs 2013? I used to play this style like a year ago (i took al ong break) and was kidna succesfull with it at 50NL. Im wondering if you still see many LAGs around? Is this different for micro/SSNL/ and how about on the midstakes?
I just feel like this style is much tougher now since light 3betting has almost become standard and light 4betting sometimes as well. A LAG is so exploitable by good players.

How do you feel about the LAG style? Do you see it still regurly at the tables? Is it still a winning strategy? Too difficult maybe anno 2013 ?
I feel like LAG style sucks even more in ZOOM, because there is no dynamic and you really dont have a clue when people are getting sick of you and starting to play back at you...

Another question if i may:
Question 2: Calling 4bets/5bets ?
Do you often see 4bets getting called (isnteadf of 5betting)? Do you call 4bets yourselfs, even OOP? if so, what hands? When ur calling 4bets, i assume you did that with hands u initaly 3bet w/ for value, or maybe u 3bet them because there were others players left to act ( that could sqz or get into mulitway pot w/ you, that isn't really good, like you for example once said in a vid w/ KQ) .. Either way, i think that's mostly like AQ/AK, or KQ, TT-QQ as well perhaps, but maybe also some bluffs w/ T8s or J9s from the SB vs BTN or from CO vs UTG or w/e. Not sure which hands you prefer then? AQ/AK could make nice pair, but would also miss 2/3 times... So not sure if 5betting may be better.. And KQ could make pair, but is obv domiated vs AQ/AK. U value Suited broadways , AQs/AKs/KQs much higher than unsuited? since u will flop a FD 11% of the time which would be great for c/r'ing AI for example. SC/SG don't have the problem of being domiated, , like T9s, T8s. But then again, SPR is very low, so not sure u really want those hands either. Can't really be sure ur pair is good if you hit since villian could eaisly have TT-QQ (with AQ/AK ud have much more outs against those hands)..

Follow up questions: before calling 4/5bets, do you need specific reads? or are there some hands u call 4/5bets w/ on occasion readless?
I even saw you , oblio, flatting a min5bet OOP w/ 43s in the CO vs the BTN. Ur odds were GREAT, but still, IF you are calling 5bets OOP, shouldn't we do that with hands a bit more decent?

Question 3
How do you feel about Leakbuster pro App from HM2 ?
Can you acutally spot usefull leaks with that? Or is getting coaching much better?

Quetsion 4
What would be a nice realisable goal for winrate at for isntance 50NL? is 5bb/100 doable for instance? It obv depends on urself, on ur qualities, but still, there are prob some indications? How about small stakes? Where do you feel is gets much more difficult to beat the stakes? is the jump from 50NL to 100NL tough? And big difference between 100NL and 200NL?

End of Qeustions
Would be realllyyy great if you could maybe talk about some of my questions! Obv u don't have to specifly answer it, but could be nice if you spent some time on the topic. I don't know if you already had topics on your mind, but if not, i hope this could be one. And if you need some more topics i'd be happy to send some suggetions :)

P.S. Can I also post HH's here ? For example regarding the topics (such as calling 4 and 5bets) ?

Hope to hear back from you!
Cheers!

hey NewwWorld,

Thanks for your questions! If I do the coaching this upcoming Monday (which I believe I am doing), I will address your questions as best I can. And yes feel free to post as many HHs in this thread as you'd like, and I will also go over those in the coaching. You are in luck because it seems like the next session will be largely focused on you ;). Also if anyone else has any HHs they'd like to post, please go ahead and do so. I think it'll be nice to take a little break from the video reviews that I normally do and try something different.

hey Oblioo

Ofcourse with pleasure, and thanks for ur very fast response and the good news! Can't wait for monday evening now haha. I'll try and find some hands tomorrow for the concepts i asked about.

If after the weekend i haven't seen any other people with many questions ( everybody should get a chance to ask their questions and i already asked a lot ghehe), i'll can think of another concept/questions (with hh as well) that i'll be posting on monday begin afternon. But hopefully some other players can think of some cool quesions instead!
Either way should be great, cant wait!

Something to illustrate NewwWorld's questions =)

Kinda bittersweet nuts/worst flop ever :f_biggrin:
I block 99/JJ ... so the line he took, he prolly has like TT and sometimes QQ/AK ... maybe AQ/KQ/AJ sometimes and I'm afraid he will almost never even b/f AK here either ... just AJ pretty much if he even has that

But at the same time I flop as good as I could hope for with my hand so got it in ...
I guess that's why it's bad to be OOP

Completely readless/unknown opp .. should've made a bit bigger pre ...

30% is the standard cbet sizing in 4bet pots for cheap bluffs & valuebets for multistreet playability purposes but ...

Should I perhaps be making it bigger like 50-55% here as a "one&done valuebluffbet"?

Coz 30% sizings will get called/spewed on superoften in which case using this sizing seems like a rly bad option.

I forgot to mention this, but I prefer if you post hands to weaktight.com, so that they're easy to replay and see stack sizes on each street etc. In this thread, you can post the weaktight.com link to your hand, and mention all relevant reads.

Added the weaktight links above ...

Do you like/hate a call here due to his sizing and hope he's going for thin value with Jx/weird minibluff floats some of the time coz we're capped by our turn play?

Vs fish I'm calling all day long coz they show up surprisingly often with crap/weird small bluffs etc ...

But this guy looks like a regular ... Unknown tho

I was having some trouble with my PC, prob gonna reinstall everything. So had some trouble finding hands today. Will def get back to that next monday, but i see StaticMoth already helped me with that, great job!

I dont think oblio will answer ur questions here, but prob in the live coaching.
Some quick thoughs from me tough:
1sth: snapfold, don't 4betbluff here (OOP!) unless u have at least AQ/KQ or maybe AJ for blockers
as played: we gotta as least c/c, we dont HAVE To c/r, but i think c/r is good play. With c/r we can make him fold AK i think , def AJ or other light 4bets that actually beat us (Ax). We also rep TT/QQ pretty well.

Hand 2:
I get into this PF spot quite often, and i find myself just flatting pre quite often actually. Feel like im overreping my hand by 4betting there. Downside is that we obv need to play a 3bet pot OOP, but i guues QQ plays pretty well.

Curious about this spot for different hands PF (AK,QQ,JJ, AQs.. and perhaps some other good but not great hands).

As played: I think u are scerwed ghehe. I often find myself checking OTF, but im really uncertain about that spot as well.

Thanks again StaticMoth for these hands, some interesting spots that oblioo and emanuel could hopefully help us ,and everybody else wacthing, with.

Np ;)

A bit later than anticipated (traffic can be a real bitch), but here are some hands:

Hand 3: KK vs 4bet from UTG

Spoiler

Hand 3: KK

Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players -

UTG: $62.60
MP: $52.10
Hero (CO): $63.76
BTN: $34.27
SB: $39.72
BB: $59.44

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is CO with K :spade: K :diamond:
UTG raises to $1.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3.50, 3 folds, UTG raises to $11.50, Hero calls $8

Flop: ($23.75) 2  8 :club: 8 :diamond: (2 players)
UTG bets $14.50, Hero calls $14.50

Turn: ($52.75) K  (2 players)
UTG bets $36.60 all in, Hero calls $36.60

River: ($125.95) 5  (2 players - 1 is all in)

PF Analasys
At the time of the hand, i think villian was unkown, but not totally sure,
now i have him running at 17/11
f23bet = 1/2
4bet= 1/1

In your analysis, could you give advice based on the stats, and vs him as an unkown?

I think vs his stats we could fold PF vs the 4bet, but against unkown im not happy about that.

PF: his 4bet is huuuge, this could mean he has QQ that wouldn't mind pickup up the pot PF, or AK (atlhouhg only 50% of those combos left). Could also be AA...
Btw, against unkowns: i think this could be random spazz sometimes as well...

How to play with AA/QQ/AK
About PF: , what should we do with the followings hands vs the big 4bet? (besides KK)
1: AA . Flat? Since he is more likely FOS, we block valuehands (AK, AA), and since we have two aces it is less likely an ace will hit OTF that could scare him. Or do we get it in since villian is showing strenght?
2: AK. we block AA/KK, so i think FOS is more likely. Against the big 4bet i don't think we can call though pre to hope and hit the A/K OTF.
3:QQ: Fold ?

fwiw: against villian with stats i think i could 3bet QQ/AK for value, hoping he will setminse OOP (his stats seems he's weaktight, ), and then we can ffold vs a 4bet
against unkown i would prob just flat AK/QQ (unless he is not fullstack, or opens only 2bb or 2.5bb)

Extra question: OOP vs IPI
f we were OOP, so we were in SB or BB vs villians UTG open, we 3bet, he 4bet big, could we consider calling then still w/ AA? We are OOP which makes its more difficult to extract value, although, with two biggish bets OTT and OTR (if villian ch back OTF) we can still get stacks in

Folding KK ? (i wouldn't 3b Ak/QQ then)

Postflopanalasys
Guues i just have to go with it,,,?
ohh about the turn

Spoiler

BINK

P.S. the I NAMED the HH's from the the weaktights links, so they, for example, appear as Hand 4
