Hi I wonder could someone help me out and evaluate this hand for me, it is my exit hand of an MTT last night. It was on a site where I can't use any software so I am going to have to just write out the history. Hope that is OK. The tournament was a 6max deepstack game £5.50 buy in this was at the final 2 table stage.
I am UTG 4 handed my stack is 53600. I pick up TsTc.
Blinds are 400/800 and I raise to 1600.
The player on the button is short stacked with only 6xBB so I was hoping he would come over the top but he folded.
The Small Blind who has a 64500 stack then raises it to 3600 and the BB folds.
He has been raising quite a lot, we have been on the same table for about 2hours and collided a few times but only had 1 hand go to showdown, I had AA and he called me every street with J9s board J43K4.
So I called him pre and saw the flop which was 9c 6h Qd. He bet 6600 which was something he had done every hand so far which he had raised pre and been called. With only 1 over card to my TT I thought I would call.
Turn was Qc which in my mind made me less worried he had a Q in his hand and then he checked. At this time I was feeling that he had a hand like AK/AJ. I then decided the pot was big enough now and I didn't want to really see an A on the river so I bet 10400 hoping he would let go and we can get on with our lives. But he used most of his timer and called. Which I thought was quite suspicious, he had done this against another player when he had hit a flush, so now I was wondering did he have a Q in his hand?
The river came with Qh, so now I really didn't put him on a Q in his hand and figured he was probably trying to represent like he had it and was going to put me all in on the river to win the pot. On the river he bet 14000, still feeling like he now couldn't have the Q I moved all in for 32000. He used all his time bank up and eventually called and showed KK and won the pot.
I am a bit disappointed with myself over it and feel I was out played and never considered KK, I am particular mad with myself because it's similar situations that I keep done by and sometimes on the river I feel like I could fold and stay in the game but something comes over me and I don't. One of my Skype buddies who plays poker casually says I played it pretty bad and should have got off the hand much sooner but another friend has told me it was a cooler. I would appreciate some educated insight please.
