Hey C,

Why check/call flop and c/r turn?

Well If I check/raise that flop, I`m going to get a fold almost all of the time, maybe even by hands like 99-JJ... if I flat flop, there can be a lot of cards that will give him equity(a pair or a draw) and with witch he`s willing to put more money in the pot. In an optimal scenario he will turn two pair or a worst set. Plan was to get max value....

When he has a pair, he calls it once on the flop anyway so betting is superior to checking in that regard.

If he has air, he will fold it to a raise either on the flop or to a raise on the turn.

If he turned a set or 2pair, money gets in whether you call or raise now. With your line you usually miss some value on the flop if he is not the guy to bluff and followed by a move that makes him fold bluffs after on the previous street you assumed he bluffs.

Either cbet and barrel or check/call flop, check/call turn, check/raise river.

We miss out on value from lower sets and 2pair if we check plus he won't have THAT many flushes. Ofc it becomes thinner but I think top set is still a shove.
