In the AQ hand from last page, what are you valuebetting against OTR? Is it against a reg? just curious.

Against a reg it would be a quite thin valuebet indeed. But this was a 40/12 guy, so any Kx Ax mainly.

And if 't were a reg, KQ would make sense for him to still have. Guess he would 4bet AK.

Felt rather sick this morning, headache from the evening before and slept really bad. _confused: So i didn't really play, did some database analyses on some regs, found some nice exploitable spots vs some.

So after that i did decide to play a bit, but overexaggerated the exploitable stats after a while and dropped a BI. I just quit after that, shouldn't even started i guess but i managed to cap my losses to only 1 BI.

Played a bit on the camtables with a fake GIF, lost 3 BI to the tards there. -.-'

AK< AA
KQ< 66 on KK6
JJ< QQ
AT< TJ on TTxxJ

So yea, my massive badrun continues, atm this is my biggest losing month ever. I know there's a bit tilt involved, but the badrun is just insane. Gonna cut 6 tables to 4 and overthink every damn spot just to get things running again.

If only you played with your weiner on the camtables, people would be amazed and donate their whole roll!

If I am in a downswing I review every session and put the hands where I really don't know what to do on the forum. Otherwise my confidence is getting lower and lower and I'am only going to play worse.
It always surprise me how fast I forget a downswing when I am running good again.

Sucks man. How many buy-ins are you down?

Things will turn around eventually, you just have to endure it I guess.

Well i started the month with a whopping 1k downer, recovered in a week, then had another 800 downer. didn't recover from that one. And now 1,5k down, this month. Which is alot on nl50/100 combined.

Started reading a bit in the neuropsychology articles here on PS, never read them. They're a small eye-opener, with all the dopamine/sertonine levels etc. It does make sense, cuz i haven't been playing my crushing game since the start of this year, and that's also the time i stopped exercising, guess there's a correlation there.
Also lately i'm such a slacker with getting up early etc, partying everyday and apparantely alcohol gives you bad sleep, never knew. So that's another thing.

So i'm obviously losing EV on those spots, but running >15BI under EV this month aint helping either.
Luckily i'm starting football training this sunday again(I think i'm gonna die tho), but i assume it'll benefit me alot.

Played a short session after watching some videos. Stuck to 4 tables max this time to overthink spots a bit more and quit after i lost a bit focus, so all in all i played fine.
Only downside is that i always want to know if i'm up/down but i shouldn't do that. Maybe i'll just close the graph section of HEM2 and only check it once a week. Bit hard to review things then tho.

I quit after this aggro reg that steals 25% from sb to my btn steal, 3bet/5bet shipped over my bad 4bet with a sc. Dropped my head after that with 'FML', so smalltilt and a good reason to quit.

LOLWTF hand: I'd reckon he'd 4bet with QQ+, so i just go for good value from lower pairs. Didn't expect to see this hand. :f_confused:
Could've 3bet bigger.

MP: $50 (100 bb)
BTN: $37.50 (75 bb)
Hero (SB): $53.15 (106.3 bb)
BB: $50 (100 bb)
CO: $51.35 (102.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J J
MP folds, CO raises to $2.25, BTN folds, Hero raises to $5.50, BB folds, CO calls $3.25

Flop: ($11.50) 5 2 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $8.62, CO raises to $21.18, Hero raises to $47.65 and is all-in, CO calls $24.67 and is all-in

Turn: ($103.20) Q (2 players, 2 are all-in)
River: ($103.20) 7 (2 players, 2 are all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$103.20 pot ($4 rake)
Final Board: 5 2 8 Q 7
Hero showed J J and won $0.00 (-$51.35 net)
CO showed 2 8 and won $99.20 ($47.85 net)

Well today i had my first football training of the year again, and i actually died this morning. Hungover from yesterday and ~4hr less sleep than usually.
But i reincarnated the afternoon, when the 2nd part of the training commenced. I was the new jesus on the field so to say.

Just played a session, said to myself i would quit immediately if i made some stupid 'tilty' move or whatever. Because i'm quite exhausted from the training.
Anyway, that stupid move never really came and i had my best session in ages lol.

Funky hand, during the hand i was doubting if i should call a bet at turn/river, hindsight after seeing his hand i guess it's a clear no, but then again my range is quite strong here, so he shouldn't have that much of a bluffrange, but alot of SDvalue. Question myself if i could place another bet tho vs random pp's.
Amazes me how he calls this hand pre tho vs UTG's 4bb open.

Hero (SB): $58.68 (117.4 bb)
BB: $41.23 (82.5 bb)
UTG: $59.87 (119.7 bb)
MP: $66.75 (133.5 bb)
CO: $70.81 (141.6 bb)
BTN: $51.50 (103 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J Q
UTG raises to $2, MP calls $2, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5.50, 2 folds, MP calls $3.50

Flop: ($13.50) 3 Q 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $6.50, MP calls $6.50

Turn: ($26.50) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

River: ($26.50) T (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

Results:

Spoiler

$26.50 pot ($1.32 rake)
Final Board: 3 Q 2 5 T
Hero showed J Q and won $25.18 ($13.18 net)
MP showed 5 6 and lost (-$12 net)

I don't really get this reasoning. If you check turn, you should definitely be check/calling as he will have a lot of draws in his range. Betting turn is definitely fine too.

lowering tables while on a downswing is a bad fix imo, at least for me, it never worked out, I just get bored and start tilting, not like monkey tilt, just 3betting more then usual and getting into marginal spots more often, that kind of mini-tilt. I would rather advice you to table select much more to avoid stupid battle regs, and play shorter sessions or take lots of breaks if you prefer longer sessions (4h+). that works well for me :)

anyway good luck :)

tbf you are giving a pretty good price to call you IP with a lot of dead money in the pot.
