MP is a fishy player. 295 hand sample. 31/18/3.3 fold to 3bet 25%/ call 3bet 63%/ Fold to flopcbet 20%(3B pot)/ raise cbet(3BP) 0%/ fold to turn Cb 20%(3BP) / Fold vs river bet 25%/

i was pretty unsure whilst I played this hand.
OTF It's an easy bet/fold against the reg i guess, and bet/call? against the fishy player?
Turn Ch/call ok, or should I just push?

Hi

If the reg calls I'm just giving up. Since the fish calls I'm pushing the Turn. This seems kind of thin but still I think you have some value here.

By the way he tank-called the river, so i don't think he would call OTT with TP weak kicker.

I disagree with this statement here. A turn bet would put him all-in. It's not as though betting the Turn makes his decision even harder, since there is no more money left behind and the betting action is closed. It's not like you can barrel the River one more time and leverage your stack.

So in essence, betting Turn and betting River are almost the same thing, just that betting Turn is better IMO because he's likelier to call with pair+draws type of hands whereas by checking the Turn, you are just giving away a free card for no good reason.

I see. I was just thinking he thinks his hand improved on the river, cause now he has AA99Q.
I agree that turn bet would be better. Thanks!
