Exactly. I was under a lot of pressure because I needed monthly cashouts for bills and stuff and therefor even after a winning month I would just be back at the beginning with my BR. Felt really depressed back then especially while having a 2 months long horrible run which affected both my BR and my game.Currently I'm just trying to increase my ROI on 7s which is going well and try not to pressure myself with moving up to 15s. As for BRM, I tried to have 100-120 BI when considering moving up. I got right around there couple of times when it comes to 15s but due to cashouts I had to make, never really felt quite comfortable. Looking back, I'm pretty satisfied that I didn't stumble upon 15s because I see now that my game was below par back then.
So, as I said, just trying to crush 7s and through agreement with the coach figure out what's the best way forward.
Having said all of that, I hope I'll get to 15s soon and never look back.

Thank you for the nice wishes, ghaleon.

Last month was specific in some ways:
* Small volume in comparison to previous months
* First month where my green line is above the red one
* Lowest monthly red line since I started learning 6max turbos but biggest winnings
* Finished 1st in Battle of planets leader board for the first time
* First 4 figure month (profit+RB+BOP)
Spoiler

So, last month was the first time I had a longer rungood period and have to say that it feels pretty good after having 2-2.5 months of horrid run.
It's kind of weird to see my red line this low because this was the month in which I think I improved the most. I was working a lot on my game by myself and that combined with amazing coachings I had, I could really see my game improving significantly.
The fact that's giving me the most joy is that I improved on my mindset A LOT. Even while I wasn't running as good, I maintained my focus and cool. I feel that I found some sort of calmness when it comes to poker.
I realized that for weeks(even months probably) I was starting sessions angry and was just waiting for someone to suckout on me so I can start blaming everyone and everything, punching stuff around me and whine 24/7 about being unluckiest SOB ever. It was really hurting my game, I had no desire for working on my game and it sucked big time. It's really hard to snap out of it because while you're being that way, you don't really realize it. It took some time for me to see the damage I was doing to myself but I'm really glad that I've managed to put all of the auto-destructive stuff behind me.
Now I can just focus on working and grinding. It's all I have to do.
Some last month's numbers:
Hours played: 120
Games played: 1639
ROI: 7.4% (EV 1.9%)
Profit (including RB and BOP): 1620$
$/hr (including RB and BOP): 13.5$
I guess the numbers are ok for someone playing 7$ turbos. I'm also aware of the fact that I ran really good. Red line was far from where I'd want it to be(f.e. last month was at 5.5%) but I don't think it's something I have to be concerned about. I feel good while playing, filled with confidence and I just have to focus on maintaining that state of mind. The results will follow, I'm sure. Work and grind FTW.
I'm gonna make only one goal for this month and that's:
* 150h at the tables
Good luck to everyone.
Have to say how delighted I am with how this month has gone for you and glad I was able to help out. Don't see any difficulties with you being able to move to the $15s when you feel the time is right and I think the BOP scoop was a fitting tribute to how hard you've worked in the last few weeks!
Good luck in September - let's hope the cooler weather makes for a more pleasant grind and brings a few more fish to the tables ![]()
Take care, champ.
edit: people who keep blogs go on to great things. It's all about reflective thinking and the ability to be self critical. Keep up the inspiring posts!

I suspected a blog was the missing piece of puzzle. ♦
First session today was pretty bad. Not in terms of $$ but the way I played. Like I've seen cards for the first time in my life
Not sure why was that cause I felt ok and ready to play. On the positive note, I handled my bad play very well, didn't tilt or anything. But it did affect length of the session. Gonna have a break, go to the market for some fresh vegetables and then continue with the plan of grinding at least 6h today.
Thought BB(very weak 19/11 reg) was AI. Yeah, tens are often good here...

Month started ok. Didn't manage to put in a lot of games today because was helping a friend move to a new apartment. Gonna have to make up for it in the coming days though.
Some hands from today:
I play this guy every day. He actually started blabbering how he's exploiting me cause I'm shoving ATC after his limp. lol,w/e
Not sure if it's better to just check preflop. Wouldn't be shoving against an average fish, thought I can do this against him. Obviously not

Made a mistake in this one. Didn't want to shove cause the guy was loose passive. Something like 60/5. And then called off like a true station. Was pretty surprised to see T6s there but I guess you can never know what to expect when it comes to fishes. Anyhow, easy fold on the river.

This was an interesting one. From experience, when a fish sizes like this it's almost never Ax. Didn't want him to c/b pocket pairs on the river so decided for a bet. Threw up a bit after he shoved but didn't want to give up on my plan. One can't bluff a station. ♦

Haven't played as much as I wanted since the last update. Had some stuff that needed to be done throughout the week. Yesterday went to a street food festival and killed myself with food
It was fun, food was great. Really nice day all around.
As for the game, I'm really happy with it in general. Think I'm playing the best I can/know at the moment.
I'm about 8h of play behind pace(monthly goal is 150h) so will need to step it up and make up for it.
Funny thing happened the other day. While playing, I noticed that on one table villains were talking about me and how the site is rewarding me because I'm the one who spends the most money at the table. lol. And in that moment I called a shove with aces. A guy said "See, that's what I'm talking about. Ofc he gets aces." ![]()

Bubbled 24 times! Will check the games tomorrow but don't think I was making mistakes, just shoving into better hands all the time. Sucks big time but not much I can do there I guess.
Everyone was hitting against me, ran into quads 5 or 6 times today, had to fold about 1748375 rivers, every free card I gave was bull's eye for villain, reshoving into premiums...
I feel like I'm gonna be sick. Really hope I'm just tired.
Shitty day.
Spoiler

First session of the day.
Felt it was just impossible to win anything. 16 games in a row without being ITM. lol
Tons of setups, villains showing up with stronger kickers all the time, shoves ain't getting through, facing either check raises or potsize donks from fish while not connecting with any board. Really really annoying.
Made some lighter/stupid calls postflop but overall don't think I played bad or anything.
Dropped about 40BI straight down since yesterday. Sucks big time.
Hey Klompa, I am positive you will move up soon don't loose hope and positive mindset. I can see you are proactive guy which pays off in the long run. Hope upswing catches you soon

Good news is that I didn't tilt, my mindset is much stronger than it was just couple of months ago. That pleases me a lot, have to say.Bad news is that I was right about feeling like I'm gonna be sick.

Returned to the tables today. Had 5 days without poker and it felt pretty bad. Well, not entirely true because I tried to play 2 times in those 5 days but it was a very bad idea both times. Slept through the first 2 days and spent 3 more in bed, haven't left apartment until today. I'm not completely healthy yet but just had to play some today, think I never had 5 days in a row without playing poker(not considering those 2 attempts of playing half conscious while thinking "weeelll, I feel just dandy, will give it a try" :)).
Made a really nice quiche today. Well, how gay does that sound ![]()
Hope to be like new in the next day or two and grind like a madman. Can't wait.

Shitty volume since the last graph but not much you can do when you get sick. Red line is going up and that pleases me. I'm about 45BIs below EV this month but w/e. Not stressing about it.
Lost a week of play due to being sick and that's what bothers me the most. Although I'm not completely healthy, decided to ignore it until it passes. Like real men do.
Still, can't ignore the fact that I can't play long sessions, head starts hurting, concentration dropping and stuff.
Had a nice coaching today and am really excited about everything that's to come in the future.

Had a nice weekend. Lost 23/30 HUs yesterday and it bothered me a bit. Was playing too aggressive most of the time so that's something I have to pay attention to in the future but also, I was running pretty bad in those HUs which is a shame cause it's a big difference $$wise at the end of the day.
Gonna hit the tables now. Morning sessions are always nice cause there's hardly any regs playing.
So, through agreement with my coach decided to move up to 15s today. Just finished my first short session there. Started with only 6 tables so I get the feel for it, mark the players and stuff. Seems there's more aggressive regs but I was feeling ok while playing. I'm really excited about moving up, can't wait to start playing tomorrow, feels really really good to be this hyped about poker. ROI was 5.2%(EV at 8.4%). Haven't been running that good this month but I think I played just fine all the time. Run, being good or bad, is not affecting me lately and in my opinion that's my biggest win in the last few months. Big part of credit for that goes to my coach whose help was and is invaluable.
Time for bed now and then start with 15s for real tomorrow.
