Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

UTG: $104.50 (104.5 bb)
Hero (MP): $100 (100 bb)
CO: $103.20 (103.2 bb)
BTN: $126.15 (126.2 bb)
SB: $197.70 (197.7 bb)
BB: $100.82 (100.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with T 9
UTG folds, Hero raises to $2.50, CO calls $2.50, 2 folds, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($8) J Q 4 (3 players)
BB bets $2, Hero raises to $7, CO calls $7, BB folds

Turn: ($24) 4 (2 players)
Hero ???

BB 27/14 fish who donks 47% and donk/folds 50%.
CO is 29/22/8.4 reg (only 240 hands) with CO cc 14 // ftcb33 // fold to turn cb 33 // WTSD 17.

On the turn do you bet again? His likely range here is something along the lines of:

Board: JcQh4s4c
Equity Win Tie
MP2 32.17% 30.24% 1.92% { Tc9c }
MP3 67.83% 65.91% 1.92% { JJ-TT, AJs+, KTs+, QTs+, T9s, AQo+, KQo }

Since I expect him to fold 77-99 most of the time when I rr donk here.

Turn seems a really bad card to barrel (even with our extra equity) since he doesn't fold much and his range seems a bit on the stronger side here. Do you like chc? Or maybe bet/bet to get him off QTs/AJs/TT?

Hey ains21,

I prefer to bet this turn even if it's not a good card to bluff at. An argument can be made for betting this card especially because it's not a good card to bluff at.

He might be folding some Jx directly which is a pretty good result itself without having any SDV.

If we check/call turn the river might get pretty hard to extract value from as he's likely checking behind a lot of hands if a K or club came out.

Best,

Hey Ains21,

With 0 fold equity and a pot-equity disadvantage we should check-turn and call if we have the pot-odds.

There are certainly advantages to betting though if we can generate even a small amount of FE vs Jx weak Qx and draws. We build a pot for the river this way and also avoid a situation where extracting river value may be tough as SariyskiS mentions.
