Hero checks, BTN checks

Hero bets $3.00, BTN calls $3

River: ($18.00) 5 :spade: (3 players)
Hero bets $3.00, BTN raises to $7.90, Hero folds

BU is 87/4 (note on BU, i stacked him here with QQ: limp/call 5x isoR Q3s F 8KQtt donk 2bb / 3b and call shove)and BB is 58/21

I also evaluate BSS so I would just evaluate it here.

I like your preflop play.

What worse hands do you want to take value from postflop though? Considering your note, he never folds better and we can hardly get called by worse here, so I'd check down.

I was thinking that I would get value from every pp that is not 88. Maybe some KJ :heart: but this is less likely.
I would have shoved preflop but the software wouldn't let me, I imagine it is because bb shoved, but what's the logic?

You couldn't shove preflop because BB didn't have enough money to minreraise when he shoved, so the only option you are left with is calling.

I think we should still check turn because the PPs are not that much in his range and we are usually getting just one street against those.
