NL2 AK call 3bet shove on the flop against unknown?

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: what do you know about MP? He is repping a narrow range of 33/55 and maybe K3/K5 but if he is fishy we can expect him to do this with some random stuff and maybe worse Kx so TPTK is closer to a call. If we had let's say KT it would be an easier fold.

I didn't know anything about him at all, that's the problem. He had a VPIP of 66 on 3 hands and that's it. I can't really assume that he is loose becuase of that right? So what do i do here if i don't know anything at all? If i came in the same situation again i would have folded i think and get to know him better before making huge decisions on very little information.

I don't think there is really right or wrong answer.. At micros, i have faced that kind of spots when villain had pure air, some weak K, lower pockets, sets, wheels, etc. There can be almost anything. So, if u like gamble, call. If u like safe play, fold and gather more information.

We do know at least something about the villain: he's a fish. How do we know this? He's the one who limped first into the pot.

I'd say KT and KJ would be easy folds, AK is a bit trickier. We're crushed against sets but have some outs against 2 pairs. We crush worse top pairs. As the pot was still so small and the rake is huge in NL2, we would need really good odds to call this. I think I would fold because of this (villain would need to shove a lot worse kings or even pure bluffs for the call to be profitable). At a little higher stakes with smaller rake and bigger returns I would consider calling more, though it would still be close.

I can't really say that a call would be so much worse either. At least you get to see villains hand when you call.

First of all, about terms: villain is 2-bet jamming on turn, a.k.a raising us there. If he'd raise smaller and we would raise again, then it would be 3-betting ♦

But to the hand.. Line where someone limps and then makes a shove on such a board is just too often the nuts. Rarely they will play KQ/KJ like that, so, despite him representing narrow range, I would fold for the reasons HuhtalaJ mentioned here.

I forgot to mention that since he limped in MP he can also have a slowplayed AA that he plays this way.

But either way I think it's a close spot given the hand, board and player.
