Hi all,

Villain's sizing indicates some ability to play poker. I would shove something like 22+ ATs+, AQo+, KQs

We 3x it in early position pre ante wich might look strong. Why should we 4bet shove 30bb more with 22 vs a 3bet? That seems extremely loose to me.

I was thinking maybe 99+.. you saying im a nit? ♦

Hi all,

You'll notice my range only has 22-88, KQs and ATs/AJs as bluffs. Combo wise that's not that many hands, and the pure fact is that 22-88 (or maybe even 22-TT) all have around the same equity against their call range. We shove these because we have some unknown amount of fold equity (against some it's very low, against some it's very high), and IMO, without history, it's probably around optimal given what percentage we're opening.
