Was I right to call min bet on the flop with 2 over cards and backdoor flush draw?

Just fold such hands so you wouldn't get into trouble and lose money, best is to stick to the SHC.

I would call the min bet on flop and I agree with your turn call. On river I would c/f to any bet

It was a freeplay veriz.

The flop call is ok, because you got a back door flush draw and 2 overcards.
I would not bet the turn, because a flush draw has arrived and other straight draws are possible now.

Still check / fold.

Fold on flop I mean or just call the small bet and see if you can get the backdoor flushdraw and on turn I wouldn't bet if the 9 comes.

Check/fold from the flop.
You cannot give yourself 7 outs here (1 BDFD, 6 overcards), because if you hit your A, you're simply having a kicker problem.
With 7 outs you might be able to call due to implied odds, but with 6 outs you simply can't call anymore because your odds are too weak.

I would simply stick to the strategy and c/f here. You haven't invested any money in the pot yet, so why would you with a marginal hand like A9?
Besides that, what would you do if you got reraised on the turn or the river?

Folding is free :)

I don't like the flop call, you have no real draw: any heart only gives you a flush draw, any 9 gives you weak tptk (vulnerable to every two pair or sth combination) and every ace gives you tp with mediocre kicker. Also, there are 9 of clubs and ace of clubs which you don't relaly want to see as somebody can be on a fd by now.

I'd fold it and save one big blind for another orbit.

Thanks everyone.
I can see the dis-counted outs now, I sometimes forget about them.
