I think Sklansky pushes shut be your "last exit" when you already use stats. Normally its way more profitable to raise normal and fold according to the opponents stats against a reraise. However Hands like a5o, have a really bad playability so its possible to push them directly against loose opponents.

But I would not push Hands like ATs they have a nice playability and you can easily go broke with TPGK.

I also don't like Hand3: The opponent will fold 95% of his blinds so just raise normal to 3bb and fold to a push it has an higher ev.

I also like to push with hands very close to calling a re-raise of an oppenent such is this is this the better line to take?

I used Sklansky-pushes for a while but decided to change back into normal raises. The +ev is pretty marginal and results in A LOT of variance. I think that normal raises are more profitable and if someone re-steals you can still push hands like 55+, given that you raise from SB or BU, also depending on how loose you think your opp resteals from an "obvious" steal. Otherwise fold and you get away cheaply. My two cents.
