Actually there is 2 types of "X", one is red, and one is grey. And then a "check mark"
Basically:
Red X: Hand was analyzed and your action was a potential mistake
Yellow warning sign: Hand was analyzed and your play was close to 0EV
Grey check: Hand was analyzed and you play was in line with the Nash strategy
Grey X: Hand was not analyzed. Select the hand to display the reason/details in the status line.
This is also covered in the help at:
Help: Help Contents: HRC Help: Components: Import Results
Example, u play 180 man SNG, and want to look CHIPEV ranges, press Advanced hand, what prize do u enter?
If you select ChipEV as equity model the prize does not matter for the calculation. Just enter anything valid, e.g.: 100% first.

Ty
Greetings from Canada ![]()
I was just wondering wondering if holdemresources supports the raw hand history from IPoker's Poker770. Currently the import doesnt work for me ! ![]()
How I do it
Open Pokertracker 4
Find my hand
Right click the hand
View Hand Details
Copy Raw hand history
now in holdemresource
Basic Hand
Paste from clipboard
Error message given
""No valid hand history found.
Supported formats imported from clipboard
Pokerstars, Full Tilt, PartyPoker, IPoker, Ongame, Cake, Merge, 888, Winamax, Web calculators URLS""
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
HRC currently only supports the original XML format for iPoker. I believe PT4 is using some converted format when you use the "Copy Raw HH" feature.
The copied data should look like this:
<game gamecode="xyz">
<general>
<startdate>2013-01-01 00:00:00</startdate>
<players>...
If you see a "normal" plain text HH, this is already some converted format by PT4.
The recommended way to import hands from PT4 is by using the SQL import option, you get full support for all your imported hands there regardless of the site.
If you want to review specific hands, simply mark them in PT4 and use the "Marked Hands Only" filter in the SQL import dialog.
Hello!
havenot found russian variant of this topic so ll try to ask in english (
i imported HH from HM and i want calc to analyze all hands of my session. for some reason it calculates everything in push\fold mode though in half of hands i made minrase\fold or mirase\call or minrase with everyone after me folding. why do i need push\fold equity if i minrased? 0_0 ithink i missed some option but actually it would be quite natural if calc showed calculations for heros action instead of push/fold for everything without any options
in the list of hands colomn "action" shows "R" both for hands where i push and for hands where i minrase. how am i supposed to find out how i played? find hand in HM history? 0_0
when changing nash range for some player recalculation for other player ranges seem to go automatically but range% does not change. example: in some hand calc suggests for sb\bb 75.3%/20.8%. when i change 75.3 to any other number 20.8% remains the same though on the picture with hands equities BB calling range changes. cant understand what i do wrong(
Thank you

Basically, the "Quick Analyze" option aways calculates as push/fold, anything else would be way too slow and not "Quick" at all. Please use the manual "Advanced Hand" dialog to setup minraise hands.

You can right click the hand to display the original hand history.

When you adjust the sb range, the EV for the bb call range changes immediately, as you already observed.
Your defined strategy (displayed in the range table on the left) does not change automatically when you change other ranges. To actually change your range, you can either hit the green "Run Fictitious Play" button to re-adjust all non-locked ranges, or manually edit your range and select hands by edge: 0.

"advanced hand" can be used on one particular hand as i understand. on the hole massiv of last session hands only "quick analyze" can be used and it doesnot distinguish pushes and minrases
You can right click the hand to display the original hand history.
yes i can. but its more clicks and i cant see the reason to set "R" both for push and for minrase. whats wrong with "P" when action is push
Both are technically raises, so "R" seems fine to me. I agree a distinction would be useful, but depending on the import type there is sometimes not enough information available to distinguish between push or minraise.
(Switching between using P/R and only R depending on the import option would be somewhat confusing i think.)

answer to this please, i need the confirmation that i cant do like i want to so that to stop being mad about that
Sorry, thought this was already answered. No, you can not calculate minraise spots using the "Quick Analyze" option.
Minraise calculations take a fairly long time, running them for entire sessions is just not practical imo.
If I use HRC on SnG 45 man where only 7 places are paid. Should I use ChipEV in Big Blinds for calculations on semi FT? and 'Malmuth ICM' for calculations on FT?
or I should use 'ICM' for both situations?
Hi plexiq,
I installed trial version for the calculaor. after the intallation when i try to run the application i get the following error:
A java run time environment or java development kit must be available in order to run the calculaor. No java virtual machine was found after seraching the following locations:
C:/users/Sahil/Appdata/local/holdemeResources/calculator/jre/bin.....
Can u suggest a fix?
Seems the JRE installation did not work correctly. Please try to download and install the correct Java runtime (32/64bit) manually.
32 bit: http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jdk/7/jre-7-windows-i586.exe
64 bit: http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jdk/7/jre-7-windows-x64.exe
If you still have problems after installing the JRE manually please try the following: Copy the "jre7" folder from the Java installation directory into the HRC directory and rename it from "jre7" to "jre".
Done and ts working!
Thanks.
I play mostly 45 man turbos on stars and have to work on my push/call range.
Will use the software and if i like it get a 6 months license or so.
^ Lol, was literally already typing this post when i saw your post notification.

Sorry, missed your question before.
Before the final table you can either use ChipEV or an approximated structure (e.g. 90/10 to simulate a small bubble factor).
(You should *not* use the original payout structure before the final table. The calculator is not aware of the other tables and would treat it as the last table.)
