Reviving my old Tournament Blog
I have returned to the $1 45man MTT on Pokerstars and have finally beaten it. It was giving me a hard time when I was starting out my Poker career so it a my personal revenge on that MTT Limit.

Will post my graph soon.

I mix the $1 45man MTT with the $0.50 360man MTT. Will start adding $3.50 45man MTT regular speed soon.

My Bread and Butter Tournament

The Torny that I can make easy cash from is $1500Gtd Top Gear on Ipoker with $0.50 to enter. It has unlimited rebuys if you fall below 25BB and 5000 chips addon. The blinds start at 5 min, 10min then it shift into its 3rd gear with Blinds at 15mins.

It average 550 players with $270 for 1st place. After the Rebuy and Add-on period the field of players cut in half.

I have made numerous cashes in that Torny

Today I will be playing in the Pokertubers Torny Promotion with $1500 GTd $3.50 buy-in with 150 average players.

Hope I reach Final Table; $550 for 1st place.

I been blogging like crazy because I want to document my poker journey in the history books. I havent been able to blog much lately because I was in a 'poker lockdown'. I want to beat the $1 45man MTT properly and start multitabling the $3.50 comfortably before the Christmas holiday when the recreational players or fishes start playing drunk for fun.

It would be a bad time to start taking shots at the $3.50 during the Christmas holidays because you wont get a true perception of the limit.

I need 80BI at the $1 45man MTT before I start taking shots.

My $1 45man MTT stats

Most of the stats are from 4 months ago when I was taking shots thinking I couldnt beat the $1 45man MTT. Now I am trying to improve my ROI with a better Torny strategy, by loosening up more and use HEM HUD.

My $0.50 360man Turbo stats

89 Tornies with 220% ROI with 2 1st place
Thats lot of BI for the $0.50 360man Turbo

I mix the $0.50 360man Turbo with the $1 45man MTT. I didnt cash in any of the 45man today but I won the 360man which compensated for it.

Pokerstars Rig!

Am not a person to rant but am starting to think Pokerstars is rigged. I thought it was only a myth but more I play the more it starting to get obvious. Everytime when am playing Mtts and I push all-in with KK theres always an Ace on the flop or river.

It sucks when your short and finally got KK and push all-in someone just call with A2 knowing that Ace always come on flop or river at Pokerstars and they will win with Ace if the other players doesnt have an Ace.

Would love it if Pokerstars could have a 'Run it Twice' rule when your short stack

I think for regular 45 manners, 80 BIs is too conservative. I only use 20 myself but that is because I was a winner previously. I think 40BIs for regular and 60BIs for turbos is enough for a player who knows how to play those structures.

Am not using 80BI. I had set a BR goal and I needed to win 80BI to starting staking shot at the $3.50 now I need 40BI. Am more than roll for the $1 and even the $3.50.

I want to mix the $3.50 45man with the $2.50 180man so I will need a conservative BRM. Plus I play a few hrs of cash games; trying to move up to NL25 and to clear bonuses.

Would love to play in the Sunday Storm with boosted cash prize of 1million and watch my poker friends play but I have a chess tournament to play this weekend; I am trying to qualify for the Jamaica National Chess team for 2014 Olympiad.

Due to my chess training I wasn't able to put in much volume as I wanted.

Am not a very expressive writer; I write in bullet points but thanks for finding my blog interesting.

Its a good idea to start mixing MTTs in your SNG grind since MTTs got higher ROI. So if your running good in a Torny it will compensate for when you dont cash due to variance. I was once a SNG grinder too when I just start out.

The $0.50 360man Turbo and $1 45 man MTTs are easily beatable. With the $1 slow blinds structure theres usually 20 players remaining when the blinds reach 200BB so if you play ABC Tight in the early stage you can last until the final table bubble. I prefer the $0.50 360man MTT than the 180man MTT because they are the same but the former has a bigger prize pool. They are the same in the sense that after a certain blinds structure both will have same amount of players because they are more tables hence more players knocking out more players. (I think it does or it feel so)

I will post my Anti-Variance strategy for the 45man MTT soon. (After I have beaten it ofcourse)

Ipoker got very soft Torny with attractive Gtd prize pool with small amount of players such as the daily $1 and Top Gear that I have already mention in my blog.

I would do a video of me getting 2nd place in Top Gear with $1500 Gtd and 550 players but the hand history from Ipoker didnt got saved.

Which SNG limit you play?

I grind 2.2$ DoNs on ipoker (hyper-turbo) and 1.5$ fifty50 on stars mixing them with some turbo 9man SNGs.
I'll try some 0.5$ 360man MTTs and hope that i can ship it ♠_biggrin:

I was tired today because of a long weekend because I was playing in a chess Torny so I play 1 session today. I played 5 $1 45man MTT and 1 $0.50 360man MTT and I got 2 1st places. Its my 1st time I ever got 2 1st places in 1 set of multitabling.

I am going to start taking shots at the $3.50 limit on Wednesday. I will be playing 5 tables of the $1 while I am taking a shot at the $3.50 so that I am not wasting time just playing 1 table of the $3.50. This way I will get to move up faster.

I am hoping for a good run and hope I will adopt quickly at that higher limit.
Hope its easier than the $1 as I heard.
