V is 10k hands
26/21/8.5 / Af 2.4
WTSD 31 / WWSF 47
RFI CO 32 / fold vs 3b COvsB 65% / 4b CO 4.5
fold vs cbet in 3b pot 44/60 (my plan was to 2 barell any decent equity)
raise cbet in 3b pot 20(70)

I choose to shove because I don't expect as standard V to raise a strong hand on this board(we don't have 3b pot stacking light history)
and I can't remember when I've seen last time someone to have this raise cbet percentage in 3b pots

Did I missplayed my hand???

BB: $68.03 (136.1 bb)
UTG: $26.35 (52.7 bb)
MP: $30.20 (60.4 bb)
CO: $50 (100 bb)
BTN: $17.89 (35.8 bb)
Hero (SB): $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 8
2 folds, CO raises to $1.25, BTN folds, Hero raises to $4.50, BB folds, CO calls $3.25

Flop: ($9.50) 2 7 J (2 players)
Hero bets $5, CO raises to $11, Hero raises to $45.50 and is all-in, CO calls $34.50 and is all-in

Hi Yozan

It looks like he goes to showdown quite a bit and while he raises a lot of cbets he can do so with pairs here as well that he wants to go broke.

I think the biggest issue is that you rep very little shipping over the top of him (without dynamic/history) so I'm not sure if you have as much FE as you think you do.

And raise cbet in 3-bet pot has 70 samples, 20% of that is 14 hands which is a bit higher but the sample is still not that big (also, since his 4-bet % is pretty small I can imagine him slowplaying QQ+ preflop quite a bit).

Why should I ever play AJ,QQ+ different vs this guy??
Do u think I should have a b/c range OOP vs this type of player???

I am not thrilled to catch his bluffs OOP,because if he stack off light, when I have it,he will pay 100bb's...

Am I wrong?

TY!

If you look at those two statements (at least to me) they are intended for two different people.

First, that's our assumption about him (that he stacks off light after raising light).

Second, that's our assumption (or mine) that you do not rep much shoving that flop. In other words in his eyes you don't have as much value.

Why do I say that? Because a lot of people see dry flop, a cbet and a raise and then a shove. So people will level themselves into saying oh, he doesn't rep lots, look at the board, and call.

Also Being OOP is irrelevant when you will have a PSB on the turn. The smaller the SPR the less the positional advantage matters.

So anyway, I was not talking about your stacking off range (value range) at all when I made those statements.

Villain showed JTs...
That beeing said, and having this note,I think I can max my Ev vs this guy,by never blufffing and shove over all my value range.

I am wondering what is he calling when he raise most of his value range OTF?

His fold vs cbet OTT is 60%
Guess as standard when I get called must barell twice, then give up OTR if I don't have it...

What about flatting the flop raise and x/shove turn on any :diamond: 8, 9, T, K or A, or donk shove on these cards?

Hey Yozan

Interesting hand!

I think the most profitable way to play the hand is to call on the flop.

On the turn I would check shove any turn that improves my equity such as :diamond:, 6, T which is 16 cards!

If he checks the turn we can bluff the river 1/2 and he will fold most of the times as this is how we would play all of our value range.

On the flop get 19% direct pot odds to call his raise and ofc we have implied odds! Since he will probably check back turn we get two see two cards with just $6. And there are so many runner runner possibilities also.

cheers buddy!

@Isssean

I don't like donking turn,I don't have a value range yet for doing that, will consider it in the future after I cover all the common lines first in 3b pot.

@Maritsula

ATM I was thinking that I have lot of FEQ,because:
-V has a wide calling range
-V is raising so much in this spots
-I don't expect him to raise big hands on this kind of boards

Unfortunately,I never considered how my hand looks, but Bogdan already convinced me(based on stats, villain personality) that in this spot vs this guy,+ my line I don't rep much...---------->>>>0 FEq

So now I think calling a raise here,to x/s any favorable turn cards with the plan to bet river 2/3 when turn is chckd back will be better on this board configuration(ofc will take a note about villain range)

But now that I have the note that he stack off light,I prefer to 3b shove all my value range(prob V noted my spewy move ) :f_p: :f_p: :f_p: :f_p:

TY guys!!!!GL!

Definitely have enough info on such a villain to make some drastic adjustments (including a wider 3-bet range for value)
