Is there a way I could drop my hand? Or how would have you played the hand. Maybe just play KK, AA with that big stack?

If you are happy to still play SSS after hitting 25BB+ then there's nothing wrong at all with playing QQ.

I personally only play AA, KK after i have hit 25BB+.

As for the hand as it was played i wouldn't be laying down a Q set but the board is very drawy so a bit caution would be advised. If you hadn't doubled through yet then it would be an easy push IMO.

There is no way I am going to fold this hand from Flop to River
I would reraise a little bit more to make his call a bit steeper since there are FD's and Straight (maybe a hit even with kojak) draws.

With a complete blank on the turn, I would go broke ;) you still have 25% for a Full House.

I second playing only AA/KK with 25bb+ left, save what you've won because sss is not opted for larger sums.

Hi veriz,

playing QQ after double-up is definitely +EV.

On the flop after hitting a set you're absolutely going to play for all your money. Your line is ok. If you got outdrawned by a flush draw, don't feel bad for it. You were favourite on the flop and even bigger one on the turn.

Well, tough luck than. Regardless, you had lots of outs to full boat so it wasn't that bad even agains the nuts.
