PokerStars - $0.50 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $31.08 (VPIP: 60.00, PFR: 40.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)
SB: $70.58 (VPIP: 23.83, PFR: 19.35, 3Bet Preflop: 5.09, Hands: 29,832)
BB: $57.04 (VPIP: 20.77, PFR: 16.85, 3Bet Preflop: 7.61, Hands: 6,570)
UTG: $50.00 (VPIP: 19.05, PFR: 14.63, 3Bet Preflop: 4.96, Hands: 305)
MP: $33.76 (VPIP: 33.33, PFR: 33.33, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)
Hero (CO): $218.64

SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has Q♦ 9♥

fold, fold, Hero raises to $1.25, fold, fold, BB calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.75, 2 players) 7♦ 6♦ J♠
BB checks, Hero bets $1.50, BB calls $1.50

Turn: ($5.75, 2 players) T♠
BB bets $3.50, Hero calls $3.50

River: ($12.75, 2 players) 2♠
BB bets $5.50, Hero raises to $28.50

BB seems like weak reg, I do not know what his turn donk means, but usally some marginal Sowdown hand, or draw, I doubt he vould bet so small with flush so what do you think about raise, I rep flush obv. What about sizing? If I really had flush I think I vould raise smaller.

Hey Dooleslovs,

Preflop open is pretty loose here and should be outside our default opening range.

Flop cbet is ok on this texture.

Turn is an ok barrel card if BB does not lead. Vs lead it's pretty borderline because many of our outs are tainted, folding is likely fine.

I guess river raise is ok. Do we need to raise so large to fold him off his non-flush hands?

BTN was a fish so I open for that reason, I mean I did not call only for outs I am IP and can win w/o improving, and yeah sizing is good point, I just one to make sure they do not call with Jx, but he did with AJo ohh well.

Yeah, we can obviously expand our opening range when there are fish at the table. It can be hard OOP to make weak holdings profitable even vs fish though on occasions. I would prefer it more if the fish was OOP.

Yeah, some guys will just call with Jx no matter what. We don't really need to worry too much. It doesn't mean our bet sizing is incorrect just because they call. It's a pretty horrible call with Jx. We just need to pick a size where the average player is folding frequently enough.
