You have to remember it's not 100% of the times the referrer is aware of the T&C violation. In many cases he hasn't read or understood them correctly, which leads to the violation. It could also be possible due to third person misuse of the service. As a comparison, I don't think there is any monthly subscription games that would wait until next payment before banning a person violating their T&C.

Many things make sense. And many times, stuff that makes sense, isnt the way it should be done. And imo, this might be one of those things :=)
Of course it does make sense to just about everyone here. Its a win win deal, for ps. Maybe thats why you see people saying its a bit (lot?) unfair towards those people, especially if he really brought 36 people to this site.
Now, its obvious OP has committed some serious 'sin' and we havent heard his side of the story, but it was bad enough to block him for life from taf program... which is out of question here. I also truly believe ps wouldnt 'scam' anyone for just a few bucks, or even more so im sure they have banned him with a reason.
But i still think its a shady way of doing things, by letting him (and every other person who cant 'use' taf anymore) bring new people, without actually telling him he cant profit from TaF any longer.
Its a no brainer it makes sense to both you and ps, because that person might (and most likely would) stop bringing new people here, and chose some other affiliate site instead - which is exactly the reason you see people complaining about this thing.

In the long run people will stop trusting PS.
Off course they will tell you about the terms and conditions and how you agreed with it when you registered bla bla bla.
I work in an online gambling and I know from experience we cannot simply join a program or promotion and not read the T&C. The small letter can tell you a lot.
In this case and IMO it's even worse because PS showed to be a bit "gipsy" in the sense they took advantage of the situation for 2 years and could have had a gesture of good will toinform member he was banned and could not cashout.
Echo the voices of others, pokerstrategy are obviously within their right to withdraw this offer if they think it is being abused.
But if you are going to withdraw an offer like this it should be made clear to offender at the time of the offence.
To continue to let him use the referrer code for 2 years without notifying him that he will never be able to withdraw is wrong, regardless of his offence.
And I was originally expecting some hilarious troll thread when I first saw the title...

The department responsible for these decisions has their reasons for blocking Tell-a-Friend accounts. It doesn't matter how many people you've referred or how much money you have in your account, breaking our rules simply isn't allowed. Violation of our Terms & Conditions may therefore result in a Tell-a-Friend account being blocked. Hopefully we can all agree on that.
This of course has nothing to do with us scamming people or stealing money. I trust everybody understands this as well.
Regarding the issue of not notifying people when their Tell-a-Friend account gets blocked, that is something I will have to discuss with the relevant department since we as moderators have no influence on that.
I will for now close this thread, as everyone has made their statement. I will, however, forward your suggestion to those responsible and see if there's anything we can do here.
