AKs top pair vs fish

Go smaller pre a def. smaller otf, like 500. On the turn, its close between c/c and b/f, altough against such passive player i b/f this for 1200-1300

May I ask why should I go smaller since all of us are like 50 bb deep?

pre sizing fine given the site

agree with smaller ott flop can still be ~600 though.

I´m not sure that checking turn is mistake.
We´re going to c/f with all our air, we don´t want to b/f or b/c and we get very strong hand our turn c/c range
I think c/c turn is very reasonable line, since it is hard him to call us down with 3 streets. Unless you expect him to float with Adx hands or shove Ad8x type hands then b/f turn seems reasonable.
That would also give him option to bet 3 streets with all his floats.

What floats does a 45/9 have that are going to bet turn + river. 8 check behind turn any XdX hand check behind turn imo Kx probs bet turn then check back riv unimproved - just losing so much value if you dont bet turn - we have easy 3 streets of value bet/folding and super happy and confident about it

45/9 over 10 hands can easily float any Ax hands and he may valuebet (or turn it into bluff) 8x. So until you have more reads tot he play it is always imo better to go showdown if we don´t want to b/c.
And since I´m usually giving up turn close to 100% of air besides Adx and some AxQd hands and would c/c all my showdown value hands starting with KJ and ending 8x, 99-QQ, maybe even 77-55 it is to my game balancing purpose also to check turn with AK, AA and sometimes sets/flushes
You don´t get usually value 3 streets from 8x or worse hands so I don´t see why turn check is bad on scare card.

I like b/f turn. Even with our limited reads we can be safe to assume he's not going to shove over our turn bet without something near the nuts.
