Had what i thought was a run-bad session at the $7 yesterday, and sat down to analyze my hands.

The problem with icmizer/hmresources manager, is that you need to type out every single stack before you can get the result. The only way to read from clipboard costs money

Spent a few hours and hacked up a script to fill up all the fields right from handhistory. Now am analyzing hands like a boss...

Shall fix the app ui and do an internal release if anyone wants it

Phew, Abhishek's solution involved owning sng wizard, so my efforts weren't in vain.

What my code does is this:

You select your handhistory and copy it in clipboard
The program reads the HH, and gets the blinds, antes and each member's stack
Opens the hm resources page and plugs the data in it and hits calculate

Whole task takes about 1 sec for a hand

@sim: Let me know what game type you play, and I can send you a program if you wish.

Back to the grind today after almost a week. Had a tech demo at office, and was putting night outs for it. Went really well, and I got much appreciation for it. Nice way to end the year at work!

Now for some poker! Today's play will be to play 3 sessions 12 tabling. Adios!

Terrible session: down about $50. Too many runner runner defeats at important points, and running into better cards BvB. Very irritating.

Sigh.

Btw I changed my mind about the 21km run. I can't do it. :(

Yeah 21 seems pretty damn challenging. I personally don't like running very much, but I just like going to these things for the immersion in a sea of people. Probably the same reason people go to temples, or rock concerts for that matter.

Oh, the timing on the site says I did the run in 1hr 15mins. wtf! That makes no sense at all! My stopwatch said about 55mins. I'm not even downloading the certi.

So much swings! Gotta love weekends. I ended up losing upward of $150 and winning most of it back in the last 2 days.

Yeah I was supposed to go to mangalore to attend some relatives wedding too but had to miss it cause two of my good friends got married here in Bangalore.

I'm going for a party at a friends place. What's your plan?

Lo all!

Was a great 2013. Ended it with a fun party with some close friends.

Worked out a set of things I want to do in 2014 and set up monthly reminders of the same, a la Schnitzelfish. Publishing them on a online forum might just ensure I stick to them as well

Poker:1) I would like to become a regular at the $15 45 mans. Start playing weekend MTTs.
2)Play a live tournament
3)I would like to coach someone once I am convinced that I am beating my stakes.
Big thanks to Abhi and Clawin for all the help provided!

Travel: The same goal as last year: Do lots.
Have lined up a high altitude trek to Roopkund (16k feet) in May, and would like to attempt Stok Kangri (20k feet) if possible. (Let me know if anyone is interested in either. Check out http://www.indiahikes.in/ )

To an eventful Twenty Fourteen!

Arun
