But you say you already play mtt`s for a backer right ?

Yeah I'm kinda not into putting money myself for tournaments since the swings are so big... I also feel like my play gets worse around the bubble if I use my own funds since I start to think "Well I'll be happy getting my buy in back"... But when I'm playing for a backer I intend to play more aggressive on the right times.. Abusing the bubble and stuff that gets me really far :)

Since you brought it up I'm gonna post my mtt's I've ran for the guy through this week:

Tournaments:
11. Oct: $3.30 6 handed limit: $9.50 - 12th of 192
11. Oct: $2.25 Freeze out: $3.27 - 31st of 363
12. Oct: $2.25 Freeze out: $0.00 - 208th of 461
12. Oct: $3.30 90 man KO: $1.00 - 14th of 90
14. Oct: $3.30 6 handed Freeze out: $16.20 - 9th of 270
14. Oct: $2.25 180 man freeze out: $0.00 - 28th of 180
16. Oct: $3.30 6 handed Freeze out: $8.41 - 24th of 374

Money for buy ins = $19.95
Winnings = $38.38

So well my backer can be happy about my run in mtt's this week :)

Ah ok , So you dont pay anything at all.. ?
Thinking in the way to grind a buy-in back is bad thats right, But i think you dont play in the comfort zone, you like money to much , or you bankroll is to low..

But.. To play 3 $ MTT`s with a bankroll of 1K you dont need any backers imo , really :)
You grind yourself up to 1k,, VERY GOOD..
Why play MTT`s fore someone else if you got enough money, and you are a winning player..
And please dont tell me you cant handle the swings with a 3 $ or even a 5 $ MTT , You can play 200 of them..

And what to do about the fact your freezing in the bubble stages, And dont play your A-game anymore..
euhm.. I dont know,, Maybe you can ask it to yourself..
What can i do to feel me more comfortable in the bubble , and even become a winning player in the bubble.. Yes you can make money out of it :P

Think about it`

I've once qualified for bronze and one a day... I went to the freeroll and got into the money for 25$... I was a bigstack tho and I lost a terrible hand that would've made me a chip leader... Far ahead from any opponent :( ... AKo vs AQs I got unlucky...

Free 25$ was nice with 30$ rakeback over the month :)

I am going for the metals and i am saving up for my own table.
I got about $1500 and I play the $26 Mtts occasionally.

The fact Is I can't really grind $3 mtt's while playing with my own money... I will just think about it as 1/4th of a buy in and not play my A game :)

And mtt's ranging from $8 - $15 I just never feel like playing them... I know I'll get almost a guaranteed return on this money If i just take it to a set of sng's... So if my own money is on the line I either don't wanna play or I'll not play as good :)

Running these micro tournaments for a backer is imo Just a chance for me to get better at mtt's and learn for free :)... And if I get lucky and hit a final table I'm happy splitting $200 with my backer :)

What can i do to feel me more comfortable in the bubble , and even become a winning player in the bubble.. Yes you can make money out of it

This is almost my fav stage of a tournament... At least when I have a nice stack... I'll start abusing the small stacks and play really aggressive... I know this is the right way to play on the bubble but when I have my own money on the line I just look like a scared money leaking chips away....

And back to me liking money too much... Nah I don't think so... I think it's all about me loving mtt's too much and happy to run them tho their is no real profit... if there is no real loss either :)

and I'm also just running small mtt's to get respect and I'm hoping to get staked for some FTOPS event's in November if I have time to run them

How's it going so far?

I was just thinking about how awesome it would be if you would get like 50% of all the rake created on your table... :)

I currently have only 40 medals and no idea what to save for :) I might buy the $26 ticket as soon as I reach 140...

i just started playing poker seriously so it will be atleast a year before I get my own table

Nice blog :) It would make things a little easier if you posted ur hands straight onto here, but I'm just lazy

How do u buy ur own table on fulltilt? How much does it cost, it would probably be +EV in the long run, nice little investment.

What the Hell and Heavens! You can buy table on full tilt? Can you post a link to us?

EDIT: OOOOk, another not interesting promotion.. you just get reserved seat on that table... thats all

I Can't win headsup

I'm back on my grind and everything seems to be doing good... except there's this small problem... I'm always cashing in 3/4 but I haven't won a HU all day... lol

Got few coolers and well few bad beats I don't know... It's atleast not going down... But I still don't enjoy seeing that large downswing on my graph lmao...

I know I should push the KK hand preflop but bigstack was a bully and it was on the bubble. I knew he would pay me off with any two if I just wouldn't push all in.....

And for the graph:

kinda stuff stuff happens to me all the time, just before happened with KK vs shorties all in with 87o, they hit 2 pair, it was on the bubble but I still managed to make itm. I can't seem to win HU either, I think we need more heads up articles I know how u feel about your breakeven stretch, it really does get agitating after a while but at least you're not losing :) overall you've been on quite a heater for the duration of your poker career n not much of a downswing (just one), hope things go back to normal soon, good luck!

Yeah I should.. But I'm just trying to recover mentally after the big downswing I had pn the $11 sng's.. So $6 is good for a while now :)

Well it's mostly true tho I started off as a loosing player on $1.25 9 man sng's like you can see on graph.. 150 games and 25 bi down

It's kinda a big swing but after over 850 games played and regular $24 swings... that $25 swing in the beginning looks really really small on my todays graph :)

And for my funny looking stars graph:

You might not see many graphs looking like this :)
but well it starts at $25 because first time playing for real money on stars I some how managed to find myself on the final table of a 180 man sng...

Thanks all for your replys :)

I'm playing on full tilt the rake is
$6 + $0.50... But it's just because you play a little less rake when playing turbo

the other one $6 + $0.25 is just a error in the convertor or something
