Yeah I know what you mean, I dont really tilt much these days so running bad doesn't affect my game too much and I've been playing way too nitty climbing up the stakes (nitty for that site at least) lol I'm probably more laggy than most players on stars at my level. That's why I want to be more laggy, I want full value when I have a good hand.
Turning around a losing day to a winning day increases the confindence. Playing long sessions doesn't affect the game that much either since I'm only 2-3 tabling at that time. I only set the goal to play shorter so I could do other stuff besides playing poker.
I think I was unclear with my last post, I don't really care if I get 5 straight winning days now or in 2 weeks but I do need a confidence boost so I feel more motivated to push volume. I don't want to start the month by moving down in stakes.

Anyways, I woke up at like 3 am today and the action have been very dead. Played about 300 hands and made a good profit! I did a worthless bluff vs a pretty good reg that completely failed and I lost almost 300bb but besides from that the session was good. Going to chill for a few hours then I'll probably play for another hour or 2.

I'm in a good mental state at the moment even though I've been losing abit the last couple of weeks. The confidence isn't at top which it shouldn't be so I'm ok with that. I know a couple of things that I need to improve and I'm working on it quite alot so it should be a bright future as long as I believe in myself

The mental part is atleast 50% of a poker players skills!

Played 2 good sessions today and kept both pretty short so everything is going fine.

I think I should shove on the flop here, calling is quite bad as I'm oop. These spots are quite hard as we're pretty deep. Let me know what your oppinion is! :)

Yeah! Thx :) same to you m8

Played 2 sessions today, ran pretty bad in general but I really liked how I played and I was very focused!
Played most of my hands on PLO200kr instead of the 400/500kr but it's just because the tables have been so much softer on 200 that I think I'll make more profit there even though I would like to play at the higher one. So from now on It's mostly going to be PLO200 at the day/evenings and plo400/500 at the night (2-3 tabling)
Exceptions on weekends and stuff if I find good tables!

The ev line should be disguisting at the higher stakes, been losing so many flips, sets v fd and vice versa the last couple of days... Running alright on plo200 but it's gone twice as fast at the 400/500

I decided to get the most of this friday so I went to bed at about 13:00 yesterday and slept till 5. Lol. Playing 2 or 3 sessions today for sure, I'm expecting some big fishes to come online at midnight and basicly just give their money away. That's how good weekends can be! Or things go the complete opposite and I lose a bunch a make some guy on a heater really happy. Either way... friday=poker!

Ugh I never run good on weekends... Played 4 sessions, lost the first, won the second lost the third and won the fourth lol, ended the day with a 2 BI loss or so. Not too dissapointed but it sucks to know that I would've won alot if I ran ok...

Sundays and mondays are just the best! Think I haven't lost more than once this year on those days hehe! Fridays and saturdays are quite terrible though :P

I could finally rise from the break even line thanks to yesterday and today! It's still very swingy but I feel like I've been playing really good the last 4 or 5 days and taking way more aggressive lines than before. I still feel abit unsecure in certain spots but I'm improving all the time. After all I've only been playing for 3 months and I didn't think that it would go this well when I started. My long term goal was to play regularly on plo400/500kr by my birthday in June. My bankroll is abit too small to call me a fully regular there but I'm thinking if I get one more good month I'll be rolled it even if I cash out abit.
Plo is extremely swingy though so I shouldn't get too confident, I know it can dissapear just as fast as it came!

I'm doing good with the volume and everything is going good atm. I'm abit too lazy to post any hands and I also don't find any hands THAT interesting. Most are just suck outs or std situations. There is a few fancy plays here and there and I might post some here later on.

Played the biggest fish I've seen so far. He bet 3 streets, every hand lol...
I got all in 3 times before the river and lost all of them. Just a normal friday....

Dropped 500$ in 2 hands '-.-

It sucks when you lose from fish, but think postively, eventually you'll have a lot of moneyz from them, so it's ok to make them happy once in a while :)

Best of luck,
Fran

Yeah! I'm not even tilted, it's just that you rarely see those guys so you need some rungood when they actually play!
But it's gonna turn around soon I bet. Been feeling pretty unlucky the whole month but I'm playing much better than last month. It's very swingy atm so a few good days and the month is a success :)

Haven't been playing much the last days. The tables have been quite reggy and I haven't been in the mood. I'll start the serious grind when people get their salary the 25:th and probably a few sessions before that aswell!

I've been running really bad and can't seem to win a single all in, so me not playing much is probably just good.

I'm not going to open the client before tuesday. Worst month so far but it's okay, probably saving some luck for the next month

:( Omaha can really be harsh, I guess you just need to stay strong and grind it through.

Hope you recover fast mate,
Fran

So...I've been struggling abit this month, mostly with volume and some bad run in the start. Played about half the hours I played in february and only 20k hands. February was a hardcore grind though but I should aim for about 30k each month. Anyways I'm rested as I start the grind for April and I'm sure that the volume won't be a problem.

The results are pretty dissapointing but I ran pretty bad in the start and I have to keep in mind that I played 10k hands less than I planned so it's not a failure, I was just expecting more.

Made 1400$ profit and cashed out about the same amount aswell so the roll is where it was at the start of March.

So the goals for April's gonna be:
30k hands
watch some galfond videos
being more productive
stop being the lazy ass that I am and do other things away from computer :f_biggrin:

IT'S ON!

The month has started good but im struggling with my sleeping schedule which makes it hard for me to put in volume since I can't 5 table coz theres only 2 running. Hopefully I'll fix it soon but it's hard to fall asleep when you're not tired

i struggle a lot with sleep schedule as well, i've found that a hot bath or shower an hour or so before bed makes me tired. i believe that when the body cools down afterwards its a natural reaction to feel tired, but i can't remember where i got this information (probably the BBC).

I've been playing pretty good and running VERY well the last couple of days but that makes me quite lazy and I've really been slacking with the volume. I can't seem to focus as long as I could before. I need to play at least 2 sessions per day and stop slacking ^^

This could be a really good month!

Got into an expected downswing but luckily it didn't last that long! Also played my first 1k+ hands session this month and turned around 500bb- to 500bb+! it felt really good.
I just need to keep pushing volume and play/run properly and this will be an awesome month! can't wait to see the final result at the end of the month :)

Played really deep today (700-1000bb) at a few tables today and I really liked how I handled it. It feels like my game has really improved. I steal more on paired boards and I float more tp+bd draws and some free cards to play the turn aggressive etc.
I still need to work more on my sb v bb plays and I should make my range abit tighter from sb. I play too many hands oop.

I'll post some hands here in the next comming days! I think I have some interesting ones!
