Hello,
Is it possible to go down with CPU usage (from 100%) for computationally heavy calculations? It is very annoying becuase it freezes the system for short periods.

It shouldn't freeze the system unless you have less than the required 1GB RAM available. (If you have less than 1GB spare, you can edit the calculator.ini file and set the -Xmx800m value lower, e.g. -Xmx500m to reduce the maximum RAM usage.)
If you have enough RAM, you can reduce the priority of "calculator.exe" using the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del, search for calculator.exe, right click, etc). Setting it to "below normal" should be enough. You can use a batch file with e.g. "start /low calculator.exe" to start the program in low priority, so you don't need to change it manually every time.
Alternatively you can also try to reduce the # of threads to less than your cores, go Window: Preferences: General Performance. I'd definitely test the lower priority first though.
Hello,
I play different types of sngs and sometimes forget to change prize structure. I wonder why HRC doesnt do it automatically when a hand is pasted from clipboard.
Regarding lack of general structure auto-detection:
The prize structure information is not directly available in the HH, so we would typically need to guess the structure from tournament name / chip total using hand crafted rules. Keeping these rules up-to-date for all popular sites/formats would be fairly maintenance intense and i personally don't think this would be a good use of development time long term.
I may be able to add an alternative mechanism though, so users can define structure-matching rules themselves.
I finished coding the PKR support already. It will be available with the next Beta update, most likely in 1-2 days.
Don't forget to enable the Beta:
http://www.holdemresources.net/h/products/hrc/beta-repository.html
Enabled beta, downloaded update - PKR still doesn't work ![]()
Maybe I missed something?
The latest update with PKR support is not online yet, but should be available today or tomorrow as i mentioned in my last post

I have a more simple idea to solve it: option to choose if you want last prize structure used to be remembered by the soft or blank one with blocked 'next' and 'finish' button.

PKR update is online now.
Hey,
I downloaded the update but it seems that it doesn't work for me :/
When I go to HRC -> Basic Hand -> paste from clipboard -> nothing happens.
Another option I tried was Import from SQL Database (5000 hands from last week or so) but no hands seem to be imported.
Please advise what should I do to make it work?
First off, did you successfully install yesterday's update?
Please verify in "Help: About: Installation Details" that the version is 1.2.0.20140508****.
I assume you are using SQL import from HM2? Make sure you have the correct database selected in "Window: Preferences: Tracker Database", and double check the active filters.
Did you try to directly import via HH files? I believe you sent me the PKR HH files for testing, they all import fine for me via HH/Clipboard/HM2.
Most interesting, when you "Pase from Clipboard": Do you get an error message that the site is not supported/recognized, or does literally nothing happen at all? Please send me the HH text you tried to import in that case.

Hm, this would actually be pretty easy to implement. I'll see what i can do about that for the next Beta version.

Yes The version installed is correct.
I did try to import directly via HH as well, and the recent HH doesn't import . It also doesn't show any error messages or anything just stands blank and thats it. The same happens when I paste from Clipboard.

One thing I noticed being suspicious is when I try to import from SQL Database (I have selected the right DB etc) this time I chose a larger period; what happened was that I got some tourneys imported until 30th of April. There are no more tourneys showing up after 30th of April (no recent ones, even though I def. have played quite a few).
I am now wondering why is that? Could it be because of some update in HM2?
P.S. I now noticed that import directly via HH is also possible but not with hands newer than 30th of April.
P.S.S. I don't know if that will help but I will contact PKR and see if they perhaps have changed their HH's format or anything.
I can Clipboard-Import the HH you posted in the spoiler tags just fine. If you copy it directly from here, does it still not work? What Operating System are you on?
-
Please send me a few of the new HH files, most likely there was some minor change in the format. It is strange that the HH you posted above works fine for me though.
I just copied the hand from spoiler and no it does not import (paste from clipboard) nothing happens at all. I am using Win8.1
I contacted PKR support they said no changes have been made unless I have changed the language of software which I haven't.
I just now sent you a few HH's from recent tourneys.
Hm, i can load all of the files you just sent me via the HH import. (I did notice an unrelated bug with the PKR parser though.)
I'll get back to you after doing more testing in Windows, i think the problem may be related to your Windows language/locale setting. It would help if you can send me the information at "Help: About: Installation Details: Configuration" via mail, as well as the information in "View Error Log" in the same dialog.
Thanks again!

I'm having the same issue you were. What was the fix?
