Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

SB: $49.50 (99 bb) VPIP: 25, PFR: 17, 3B: 17, AF: 5,3, Hands: 75
BB: $142.25 (284.5 bb)
UTG: $76.90 (153.8 bb)
MP: $24 (48 bb)
CO: $58.57 (117.1 bb)
Hero (BTN): $58.13 (116.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 8 8
3 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, SB raises to $4.25, BB folds, Hero calls $3

Flop: ($9) 9 3 5 (2 players)
SB bets $6.50, Hero calls $6.50

Turn: ($22) 3 (2 players)
SB bets $38.75 and is all-in, Hero :f_mad:

Sample is small, but still i guess standard defend IP?

He is betting slightly larger, so it feeled that he doesn't want overcards(scarecards) to appear or he wants bigger FE. I think we have to call at least once?

What he is trying to sell us on this blank turn with such a huge overbet?

i guess it's air or FD most of the time. No reason to overbet anything there. Not sure if 88 is strong enough to call.

I guess 88 is on the margin, TT I would call, 88 is marginal.

Thanks
