Thx!
i haven't been tilted rly but i lost some confidence.
Been playing a few tables at the lower stake when there's not many good tables at the normal one. It's a huge different on the fields and I feel like I'm better than all the regs at the lower one while there's a few really good ones at the higher. Way bigger gap than before but there's still fish around and I am making a profit playing in the long run so I just need to keep on grinding and realize that I won't make much money unless I play alot. I have a hard time concentrating and finding motivation compared to before therefor I'm abit behind with the volume. If I play 25k hands this month I'll still be happy! 30k feels so much more than it did in february hehe.
I'm 22bb/100 over 106k hands so I shouldn't complain ^^
Need to put in some effort on strategys soon because there are many spots where I'm uncomfortable and pretty clueless in tbh!
Had a quite nice session tonight!
This hand is pretty weird

He needs 14% to call so I guess he missed that flop completely. Either he's good at counting percentages because even in the worst scenario he has 12% so it's really close and some times I dont have aces there so he should call any 4 if you ask me hehe.
Hehe yeah indeed
Running shit when there's fishes everywhere, so frustrating. Losing at weekends vs shitty players and winning on weekdays vs regs and decent fishes... asdasdksaaskds TILT
This hand is vs an aggro and loose "good" fish. He knows the game theory but he's not patient enough.
I'm planning to call all rivers except J, 2 and T but thinking back on the hand, maybe I should've called. Not quite sure, I mean he could put me on a set and just go bananas wit shit but alot of his bluffs hit there.
Anyways, should I raise the flop/turn? feels like I'll only get called by the nuts or perhaps the same hand and it's great to let him bluff but it's abit risky I guess

^ if he is loose and aggro, wouldn't check/ shove the turn be better than c/c, I mean we do have 2nd nuts + FH redraw..
I'm PLO fish, sorry if the question is silly

No its not a silly quiestion, you're absolutely right! I dont want to let the scare cards hit on the river. I was abit too greedy there

So since the latest post, I decided to cash out my whole roll and just take some time off. I played a few tournaments at night when I was bored. Came 15 out of 5100 in the big 2 smtn on stars
but you had to come top 3 to get any good money.
I feel quite burned out by the plo CG and I dont find it fun at all atm. The plan now is to grind tournaments for a while.
Hopefully I'll get the motivation to go back to the CG grinding in a while but I don't want to force anything. Playing when you're not in the mood is megasuperminus ev and you'll lose money so fast in PLO if you can't think straight.Hopefully I get to update with some nice scores soon
i feel quite cursed by miss fortuna though
Sooo... I've been taking some time off to think about what and if I should play from now on. I decided after only playing tournaments for about 2 weeks to go back to plo but this time I'll play less tables and study more, so not that much focus on the volume from now on and more focus on the quality of the hands I actually do play.
Starting at plo200kr because of the cashouts I've made. I'm keeping abit on stars and PKR for tournaments.
I came rly close a few times, busting at the ft bubble a few times and also a deep run in Scoop-01-L finishing at 250 after a few rather unlucky preflop all-ins. I don't think I could stand only playing tournaments for more than a month. You need so much rungood at the right time. 1 flip can be the difference of a months paycheck pretty much. I like it though, you always get an adrenaline rush when you run deep.
I'm starting tomorrow with my bankroll rebuild and planning to watch one or two phil galfond videos. It's hard finding good plo material, I think pokerstrategy have only 1 active coach thats making plo videos. Would be cool with a few more
Yes, it would be very cool to have more PLO coaches and content. Maybe that will change in the future ![]()
Those hand histories are from SvS and kr. tables? I first looked at the opening post that you have bankroll of $300 and now you are 4 months later grinding PLO400. ♦

Hehe yeah it's in kr. Would've been so sick otherwise ![]()
1$ is about 6.5kr
I've been doing quite well with the tournaments these last couple of days and I've got a few FTs in some small ones. Been quite close on some big money but it wasnt meant to be I guess ![]()
Since my hands per month goals are way too unrealistic if I'm going to play 2-3 tbls I'm changing it to 120 hours per month/ 30 hours a week. I think I play more than that already so I might increase it abit to next month.
The bankroll has increased abit and Im ready to put more focus on PLO until the weekend comes up.
Ive been putting in tons of hours on poker lately, both theory and playing. Unfortunately mostly tournaments, had a few good days so it boosted my confidence abit I guess. The tournaments is and was always meant to be temporary.
Tourneys on sundays and some live play on the weekends would be nice though! I've had my fun now though and I'll be grinding plo at least 70% of the time. The field is still soft and there's much money to be made ♦ plo makes you crazy when you play it too much so some tourneys once in a while won't hurt. I really want to find some good plo videos to watch but it's really hard to find.
Anyone who has been buying coaching lessions from a plo coach? I think it would help me quite alot tbh.
So if anyone could recommend a good low stakes plo coach I'll be really greatful
Im sticking on my plan to play fewer tables to be more focused. I wont give up on my pokerdream!

We can't really recommend another site now can we. If you look for Phil Galfond who is the consummate PLO specialist, I'm sure he has some training somewhere.

Nono ofc not, I know where to find his videos, it costs though. I'm however talking about private coaching from some1 at the community. There's only one 1 coach who has posted in the coaching forum within the last 6 months or so
Been mixing tournaments and plo cg lately, I won a live tournament for 2800$ and a few deep runs online and a good run at the cash game. I don't want to jinx myself but this should be a really good month. I've been abit lazy on the volume at the CG but I will try to get a few thousand hands before June.
I'll post a graph at saturday or smtn
Played the same live tournament that I won last week yesterday and made a deal headsup splitting the prize. So another 2300$ or so
Back to back wins ![]()
May was the best month so far making a 7000$ profit! Most came from the live tourneys though but online still went pretty good considering the bad volume on the CG and no big wins in any tournament.
Sticking to the plan on playing less tournaments and more CG.
The graph is less than 10k hands so its quite boring to see
