hi kevsaf,

12 BI sounds like pretty aggressive bankroll management, the most aggressive i seen being used is 20BI, and for most of my friends and I we observe a 50-100BI rule.

at NL100 i can easily lose 20-25BI, any good reason why you are managing 12BI? maybe you have your roll somewhere else?

After a 30min session, I'm back at NL16, I lost those 3bi shots pretty fast today. Didn't win 1 AI, but I'll take it back soon ;)

Yea now that makes sense haha.

I like the red line, the best I can do on pokerstars is maybe breakeven or slightly dropping.

That's great, It is hard to maintain both lines positive. As I said before, the rake is very low, which helps a lot.

So, I went down to NL16 and played about 40 min, I manage to win 6bi, so I'm going to move up again. This will be my second attempt.

Wish me luck _cool:

I'll keep on with the challenge today, starting with 12bi for NL16 and 1bi for NL32. I'll grind NL16 until I have 3bi at NL32.

I 2.5x my challenge bankroll and I will stop here. I will take on this challenge again when I transferred to another site.

I've cut down on my expenses a lot this month, so don't need to withdraw every month from now on, this means I can start playing a format I always wanted to do, HU!

I'm so exited!! :f_love:

Someone know some good HU vids on 3betting? I really feel that my biggest leak is when I 3bet and get called.

What to do OTF flop? Villain is very tight, only open 56%, he fold to 3b 29% and 4b 13.2%, fold to cbet in 3b pot 27%, 750 hands

Nice blog!

Unfortunaly I can't help you with HU content/groups etc, but will definately follow this blog, since HU is (I think) the most pure form of poker. One to one just makes it different. Maybe ego thing, but what is nicer then really own your opponent.

Why did you btw quit your challenge? Maybe pretty agressive BRM, but on the other hand, you didn't risk your main bankroll and were quite succesful sofar. I like this challenge and maybe an idea to use this challenge for HU?

Gl!

Thank you very much, it's really nice to get some respond sometimes, felt pretty alone there for awhile

About the challenge, It didn't run so many tables on higher stake at the time I played, so I was forced to quit, I'll move some money soon to pokerstars and start over again :)
Maybe I make it two challenges, first try to get as high as possible on 6max and than take the money and make the same thing but on HU tables _biggrin:

I really love HU and the competition.
GL at the tables! :f_grin:

Hey dude, very interesting read so far :) I love the idea of HU but have never really learnt much about it myself, so it's fun to read about!

hey ho!

hand 1

his fold to 3b is so little and you're so deep so I'd make it a couple of bbs bigger preflop. otf i don't mind check folding since he makes it so large which makes it look like a draw to me that will bet turn too.

hand 2

here however I think your AQ on KKxhh board is ahead too often to fold this, also I don't expect this board to get barreled as often :) so id check call check fold most turns

hand 3

wp until river, I don't think it makes any sense to bet this river, you won't get value from worse and a lot of the flushes will not fold, especially against that size. I would check and hope he checks some pair back..

a lot of the hands that he doublefloats have a lot of diamonds I'm afraid so i'd be pretty happy check folder there :P

hand 4

ott I don't think theres many hands that are worse and will call the turn and better hands will not fold so I would check call it :P

GL at the tables!
