First good working day today in quite a while. Sister has moved to new apartment and my health starts to be normal.

Had 350 games and bit over 6k vpp today. Trying to upkeep volume like that and should start to get into SNE pace again :)

Hi there from Denmark. Just finished reading your blog from start to finnish and I must say: GREAT blog ! especially the monthly review with ROI and so on for the different formats you play.

Got some questions if you don't mind;

1. When you play stacked - do you set tables aside for bubble, HU and so on ?

2. If you play both chipEV-tables and $EV-tables in one stack - does'nt that take some hundres of seconds to make sure which one it is and act accordingly ?

3. And finally can you give some advice on how to approach moving up for a $7 and partly $15 reg ?

1: Sometimes yes if I want to have extra focus on some table. But still keeping most in stack.

2: Well 18mans final table uses final table theme these days, which is very nice. Sometime ago it was not used and mixing 18mans was much more troublesome. I might miss sometimes whatever table is 9man or 18man in first table, but overall that is not such big thing. Even in first table of 18man one should not really play purely for cEV. 18mans are still closer of stt sng than actual mtt.

3: Well there is no clear answer for this. Usually someone who is playing on those limits profitably has pretty solid end game play. Meaning shoving/ minraise ranges and calling ranges. Nash ranges and such. Of course nash is not necessarily optimal, but good start.

Often when this side is in ok shape its best to focus on mid game steals and resteals and how to use your HUD for this. Then I would start to focus more on early game and postflop stuff. Still I believe solid mid and end game should bring good profit on those games.

On how to achieve this. Well remember to have lot of session reviews. Go through lot of hands you have found troublesome (preferably mark hands during playing). It might be good to also look through some of other reg hands and playing style from your database. To make notes, but to also possibly find something usable for your own game.

Often one of fastest routes is to have someone else to look at your game. E.g. join some study group or get couching from someone more experienced. Might cost a bit, but might be easily worth it.

Nice to hear that someone have found this interesting to read :)

My playing and blog updating has been somewhat low recently. Have to improve a lot to achieve my target. Probably have to force avg. bin quite a lot higher. Meaning more variance. Got sick end of previous month and had some other stuff also. During this month there has been some problems with my health also. But things are starting to look better.

Still I currently only have bit over 300k VPP. Decent considering that in 2013 I made 400k. But obviously behind of even steady SNE speed, which at end of this month would be around 416k. Well I have not given up on this project and not too much behind yet.

Thought of going into pokerstars live party in Hamburg in 30.8. Conveniently strategy has tailor service in there (for black member suit) so it would be like hitting two flies with one slap. Missed live party in Stockholm because of my sickness so maybe with second try... :f_grin:

Videos working without problems for other? Tried to watch Moshman latest SNG video, but had absurdly much technical problems.

Using chrome. With HTML5 I got probably 10 times message "error loading media" and with flash video just changed to green at some point  Just unusable.

Finally! Now I can get my HU hud in shape. Changing it manually even with shortcut key has its own work with 30 tables :)

Well key to swings in poker is to remain not results oriented. Sometimes tough when no hand hold and setups follow each other. For me it has always been something to get used to. When moving up in stakes or adding more tables swings tend to become bigger as edge on the field decrease. Mental pressure tend to get tougher when daily swings slowly moves from 100$ to 2k$ :) But strong BRM helps on that side.

I rarely tilt these days. When getting feeling I am not in full control I try to calm myself and reattain focus. If it feels impossible its best to stop the session. Biggest problem recently has been with my health. Started with flu and seems like its still lingering somewhere... Annoying when it starts to feel sickly during session.

My nick is JarppeK in pokerstars.

My friend

That video has audio working flawlessly but video freezes a lot during 104 minutes of the actual length. So I think its not your fault!

-Run uninstall.exe to remove current version.
-Download EasyStreet_Installer_PT_0_9_1_0.zip and unzip the file.
-Run EasyStreet_Installer_PT_0_9_1_0.exe.

Suppose I should be happy to see preflop calls like this from high stake reg... Good thing he didnt shove the turn as I would have very likely called.
