Hi

Only 31 hands on opponent: 53/3

I guess raise his donk is fine, but I don't like my size on this drawy board, Would you pot raise? or call and re-evaluate turn?

What I mean by re-evaluate turn is:

-If a brick hits and he bets less than pot, then I would raise/fold to charge draws
-If a brick hits and he bets pot, then fold
-If a brick hits and he checks, then bet
-If a draw hits and he bets, then fold
-If a draw hits and he checks, then bet turn and river if I got called.

All this assuming I don't improve to 2 pairs

What do you think about all this?

I raise flop and the turn card sucks, so I give up, even if he called flop with 2 pair or a low set to see a safe turn or 67, he is going to call a turn bet and I should fire river, but I didn't want to risk on a big bluff vs him.

Thanks and regards

nh. You pretty much said it all by yourself.

I wouldnt do

-If a draw hits and he checks, then bet turn and river if I got called.

this though.

He looks like the standard fishy/loose passive player and is very likely to call down his weak flushes/straights.

Hi,

i like how you played it. In this case the 9 is really bad for you as both draws complete and you could be already behind. Just calling his small lead is also an option here if you want to play smallball.

Raising makes it easier though as you obv have the best hand here like 80% of the time with a nut bd draw.

Skod
