Hey dude, very interesting read so far smile I love the idea of HU but have never really learnt much about it myself, so it's fun to read about!

Thank you, I'll try to update more often!!

Didn't think anyone read it, haha _grin:

hey ho!

hand 1

his fold to 3b is so little and you're so deep so I'd make it a couple of bbs bigger preflop. otf i don't mind check folding since he makes it so large which makes it look like a draw to me that will bet turn too.

hand 2

here however I think your AQ on KKxhh board is ahead too often to fold this, also I don't expect this board to get barreled as often smile so id check call check fold most turns

hand 3

wp until river, I don't think it makes any sense to bet this river, you won't get value from worse and a lot of the flushes will not fold, especially against that size. I would check and hope he checks some pair back..

a lot of the hands that he doublefloats have a lot of diamonds I'm afraid so i'd be pretty happy check folder there tongue out

hand 4

ott I don't think theres many hands that are worse and will call the turn and better hands will not fold so I would check call it tongue out

GL at the tables!

Thank you very much! Makes sense when you put it like that _biggrin:

Hand 4 is a spot that comes up pretty often, in the moment I always think that I wanna build the pot if I hit or just to take it down right away.

Thank you again, and I'm sorry to hear that you're not going to update your blog any more, it was really motivated _cry:

Edit: In hand 4, if we call turn, do we always lead river vs this villain and checkraise vs aggressive opponents?

Now is everything fixed with pokerstars!!

I'm gonna take on that challenge again, I'll probably play 60% HU and the rest of my time I'll spend on the challenge. Will play between HU action and if there is low traffic.
I'll play 6max regular tables.

So, lets get on it right away,

The rules is to start with 12 bi, go up when I have 12bi+ 3bi shots, go down if I loose the 3bi's.

The challenge

I'll start tonight, need to fix some things first.

Sick session, running superbad :P

Session: -45$
Challenge BR: 67$

Now down to NL5! Taking shots at NL10 at 90$, This I WILL achive today _biggrin:

I think this challenge is good in a way that you need to go up and down very much, many players have big problems with going down, this challenge is perfect to get use to it.

Now this is indeed the most interesting part of this challenge and it might be good (in the long run) that you immediatly have to step back.

These kind of challenges are always fun when it goes well, but like now, you have to step back in order not to blow up your (challenge) bankroll.

If you be able to do this and grind yourself back up, I'm convinced you can achieve a lot with this challenge.

I'm following you closely and really hope you succeed (don't really doubt about that though.. ;))

GL!

I'm a man of my word! I've now grind 2 hours and 40 minutes and my roll now stands on 91$, this means shots at NL10 again.
Hope NL10 will be a bit more generous this time!

Now a short break, than back to grind. _cool:

Played about 1.2k hands on NL10, I played very well, in the end of the session I got in QQvsKK, KKvsAA and OESD+pair, so now I'm back grinding NL5 again.

I played 3500 hands today and ended up 50$ down.

Start BR: 127$
Challenge BR: 62$
Total hands played: 4738

So starting tomorrow with NL5 again, no shame in that! _cool:

Goals for tomorrow:
:diamond: shot at NL10
:diamond: 4k hands

It take awhile to get hands in on regular tables, but I like it.

Graph for today,

Godnight!!

Nice one!

You got me btw , I'm also creating a similar challenge, but then with a "little cheating" with the money I save because of my healthier lifestyle.

GL with your evening session!

I don't think pokerstars like me at all! Soon I need to go down to NL2

Every station does exactly what their job is all about, calling down, but they are not supposed to hit runner runner every hand :P

I'm not giving up!! _cool:

I'm going away over the weekend, leaving tomorrow morning and coming back on sunday.

Challenge BR: 30$

I'm probably going to take this challenge up again, but for now I'm running so bad :P

I sat down at 6 tables, lost 5 all ins in a row, so now my bankroll is pretty much empty, haha

I maybe try this one more time, starting on sunday. I really liked the challenge! :)

This is the graph, better luck next time ;)
