Hi guys,
This villain is clearly either on tilt or just an awful spewtard, judging from a couple other hands in this session. I know he's played the high stakes before, but have no idea how he plays exactly. I have little sample on him, so the stats didn't mean much at that point. He was quite aggressive though and really hated folding, and I've seen him 3-betting a very wide range.
I decide to 4-bet because I'm doing very well against his perceived 3-bet range BvB and I thought he was gonna stack off postflop extremely loose with a slightly dominated range. I think I can call a 5-bet, but my EV is uncertain because villain might just be one of these guys who 5-bets any ds trash when he puts me on AA, which would be amazing but at the same time I'd be folding incorrectly on some flops.
Anyway, so he calls my 4-bet 170bb deep, I do not put him on AA at this point, but he might have KK or something like that. I make a 1/3 c-bet thinking he has to fold a large part of his range. Seemed like auto-profit to me. What do you think?
He decides to call and I hit my miracle card, but I'm not sure how to play it. I can check and induce something or bet and make him call incorrectly with whatever ridiculous hands he's called on the flop with. I do not put him on any strong draws on the flop but he could certainly be slowplaying Trips. Which got me thinking.
I did settle on betting 1/2 the pot and after some deliberation villain shoves. I'm confused and hate my life, but with these odds I doubt I can find a fold against most players, certainly not against a maniac. I must admit I didn't plan this through very well and immediately thought I may've completely f'ed up on the turn. I called because there was still a reasonable chance that villain was full of it.
Your thoughts?
