why do you call 22-55/66? I mean we don't get great odds, cannot really setmine since he's not deep enough and we also might get squeezed.

We have more then 10x implied odds off a open raise, and i dont think that random villan can get away with top pair in 8$ mtt, also its not very likly that someone will sqz with weak hand vs utg and utg+1

No antes the best play is to fold here. I'm calling from positions hijack and later. BTW you should definitely believe me with regards to folding here: I setmine a lot more than some very good players I know of, and for me to opt out of setmining/calling here it should be a very strong argument.

and the reason to fold pre is?

I would definitely call 88-JJ and I would always fold 22-66.
If there would be more fishes after us, I would call 77, but I would fold also in this situation.

To me it is easy call.

Reason:
150 does not cost me almost nothing to my stack, if it is turbo, then in next 10 minutes it is only 1,5bb and in 20 minutes it is less than 1bb.
Your only reason to fold is you afraid that someone might 3-bet you light, but seeing all the stqats I think everybody plays quite straight forward besides MP1 who might or might not shove pre-flop. Usually I would expect him just folding worse hands besides AQ/AK and maybe AJ/KQ because raise came from UTG

Postflop if we hit our set then we can likely stack UTG overpair on drawy board and even unimproved we likely can call 50% of boards.

Players are not that good that they would going to always barrel off and sometimes just take c/f or pot control lines.

So basically nothing wrong usually happens if we loose 150 chips, but since we can win a lot more and we have position I think it is easy call with any pp. Likely I would 3-bet with TT+, AQ+

This is the best answer for why. It's just purely an unprofitable call.

i dont see any logical reasoning why we should fold here and i really want to know why u think fold is best (not in one sentence)?

second if we r foldin 77 here what is our calling range

Without antes and without closing the action, a hand like 77 is always going to fold to a 3bet from anyone behind. So in that situation, we lose money. There are 8 people behind us with roughly 5% 3bet behind, so that's already a large part of our profit.

Then there is the problem equity-wise we are not doing so well against UTG's range. So even if it goes heads up, we are still folding too much postflop.

Then there is the problem if someone overcalls. Again our equity 3-ways is horrible and so we are again putting ourself into bad spots postflop if this happens.

Call range is about 99+ AQ+ here.
