Oh, btw, it's a really good idea to announce the equity percentage outside the spoiler, so that people knew the record they should strive to repeat or beat. Thanks for it!

The smallest nuts-vs-non-nuts equities I've achieved so far are:
4-card Omaha 21.22%
5-card Omaha 6.34%

(For 5-card Omaha equities, ProPokerTools can be used; I'm not aware of any equity calculator for 6-card one, and it has little traffic, so I'm not interested in doing the challenge for it, even though equities can be calculated manually with some effort if desired.)

I suppose it comes to the video section once the engine room has done their magic. :)

Would be nice if someone posts a hand where hero isn't sure if he can call with a draw on the turn or not. :)

Well, there are at least three aspects in contemplating a turn call on a draw:

1) The pot odds offered.
2) Opponents' ranges (whether they're ahead or behind when a non-nut out comes).
3) Opponents' sizing tendencies and betting and calling frequencies, determining the average value that will be extracted if the draw comes in.

As far as I understood, you're going to concentrate on calculating the implied odds in the best-case scenario - when additional river value is going to be extracted for sure - or at least when the amount of this expected additional value is known, whereas my main problems are with 2) and 3) (when I don't know how often anyone will bet or call).

Well, I have yet an hour left to find an example, but I hope you have your own examples that will pretty much fill the coaching up.

Hi

Well maybe a fast example of a doubt calculating implied odds is when we have 2 pair + let's say J high FD, we bet flop and a passive player calls that bet. Then the turn puts a str8 on board and that passive player donks pot, against the str8 we doesn't have the direct odds.

So, how do we estimate our implied odds to make a turn call a profitable play?

Regards

Next week is a bye due the FIFA World Cup opening day. So the next course is 19th day. We are going to talk about fears. What do you fear in the tables?

Remember that today there will be NO coaching, due to World Cup. Meanwhile, who is the first and brave to discuss about the fear in or out the tables?

okay i will start:

-fear: playing big pots deep oop against a solid aggr reg who is capable of bluffraising/betting when a BCC (board changing card) hits. for ex.

250bb we 3b A :club:A :diamond:Q :diamond:T :club: in sb vs co or btn

raise 3bb 3b to 10bb

Pot 20bb
Flop AhTh5s b/c Pot 54bb
Turn: 4s b/c Pot: 144 bb
River: BCC hits like K, Q every , 2,3,6,7,8
Hero left: 168bb

-fear: level my self to often and dont recognize when i going on tilt calls

The magic is very slow indeed... as if Pokerstrategy wants people to attend everything (and be chattier as a consequence), instead of watching records of a missed coaching prior to the next one. I don't like the blatant way of teambuilding that Pokerstrategy exercises.

Regarding fears, I wonder why a strategy coach like Kyyberi takes on them - it's the job of psychotherapists. E.g. I'm pretty sure no poker coach can handle the anxiety custom female avatars trigger in me :f_biggrin: (the reason I have to turn avatars off).

We are not going to do some online group psychotherapy. We will discuss about two "fears" that are common to beginning players. I always thought I am a coach, not just strategy coach. If I can help members in their mental game, I am more than happy.
