Almost same in Estonia, though there is 22% tax for lottery winnings but casino winnings are different things.

Maximum tax rate in DK is 59 percent, but it is kind of a grey zone whether Eastgate will have to pay taxes here. If Eastgate are to pay taxes it should be somewhere around 30 million danish kroners

In accordance with danish tax laws every cent you make in a country on this planet you are to pay taxes of. This is called the global income rule, but again there are loopholes.

Another thing is that lottery winnings in DK are tax free.

As far as I know the guy form Toronto can get taxback. There is a special service here which gets your tax back. Not all of it but around 15-30%
so the guy from Toronto is probably gonna lose the least.

On top of that he is an accountant and they can get evern more tax back through the loopholes.

All in all these people have money and they will spend around 100-200k to reduce the taxes and end up paying lot less than the exaggerated amounts.

The taxes on poker is'nt that bad in here in Sweden as they seems to be in Denmark.

On Lottery winnings outside EU we have to pay 30% tax And poker Winnings are regulated as lottery winnings.

So 30% Flat?

Demidov cashed twice as much as eastgate would have if he stayed in denmark.
Every danish taxlaw is a joke. We pay incometax of up to 68% too.

Isnt this 68% the same as in Sweden? In Netherlands its up to 53%

Yes It's 30% flat on lottery winnings as far as i know haven't seen anything else but 0% if it's inside EU. What the maximum % tax on income are today I have no idea but i dont think it comes near 68% nowdays but we had up to 69% or if it was 72% something like that but it's lower nowdays.
