I disagree. I think J9o plays well posflop and I will play vs a wide range posflop IP, which we always want.

I think if we fold J9 here he become very exploitable vs his open range from SB (it's almost 80%). Even though he is the CL we have a stack size which can still hurt him, and when we hit he can take advantage of his AF posflop.

Id like to know from coaches if flatting turn can be an option?
I mean he could def bet the river and most likely fold to our turn shove
But the board can get really nasty and we would have a tough spot to call

Personally i would just shove but just wanna know if flatting here could be a better line?

Flatting turn is higher cEV, however there are a lot of runouts where we have to make a fold for ICM reasons. This is why I think shoving the turn and putting in the last bet ourselves is better, even though we are rarely getting called by worse.

Preflop is a call but it's closer than people think: if villain is very aggressive postflop we might have to fold because there are so few boards we're actually able to call down on.
